Coyote the Trickster

It seems like he is mentioned out of nowhere in the end issue 27? I believe there was a 3 part time traveling arc that featured him but what is this characters story?

I don't think I follow. Who's Coyote the Trickster and to which TMNT comic series are you referring?

He appears in TMNT v1 issue 27...wasnt sure if there was some history of the character that i wasn't aware of....after looking back again I may be mistaking... I originally thought this was the same character that appeared in issues 22 and 23 but I was wrong.

I'm rereading v1 after many yrs and the ending of issue 27 just seemed odd to me. Basically Carnage and Radical are fighting when she yells "remember the coyote"... I just had no idea where that came from
