Project Old Toon Selects

Hey all... I think I posted this before but it didn't work... I need a hand here, and I know some of you have been doing OT marathons as of late.

My lovely girl friend of 8 years has a brother with three kids, so pretty much I am their uncle. They are adorable between the ages of 4 years and 3 months. They know who the turtles are and through me have received a few toys, but I would love to make them a mix disc of sorts of the old toon. I need a good list of episodes to select from the OT that are not to violent. I know non of them really were, but just think of what ever ones were fun for littler kids. And post your lists of suggestions here.

Thanks all!!

Hmm, well it's hard to gauge what you have in mind about violence concerns in the OT, since nothing ever got especially intense or risky throughout the show's run. What type of content do you think would be objectionable?

You can't go wrong with the first 5 pilot episodes, even though they have some of the more "intense" storylines.

For little kids I'd say "Michaelangelo toys around."

Season 1-2 are a little bit more violent, but I don't think they're too violent for children. The 2003 TMNT cartoon is much more violent than the 1987 TMNT cartoon.

I would mix it up with a couple more popular villians as the basis for the mix disc. Pick out some of your favorites so they can see more than just Shred-Head and Krang...

My suggestions would be at least one Shredder/Krang, Baxter, Rat King, Metalhead, Slash...

I'd say Michaelangelo Toys Around,Cowabunga Shredhead,Funny They Shrunk Michaelangelo,The Big Zipp Attack,Camera Bugged, and Green With Jealousy.
I'd pick those because they seem funny and entertaining-not a whole lot of violence.

NICE! This is what I need I like titles as then I can got pick those specifically.

Ya I had the first season on once when I was living at their place and it was a little intense (crazy I know, but think of the garbage these kids are watching now!!) Cool cool! This is a great start I'll run with these and maybe find a couple more. What about that one with muc man? I always loved that character

I would go with Pizza by the Shred, Cowabunga Shredhead, Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady, Invasion of the Turtle Snatchers. The episode with Muckman is Muckman Messes Up its on season 5 disc 2.

I remember back in 1990 I was about 14(yes I still liked cartoons back then). The episode that grabbed my attention was Rapheal Meets His Match. When Mona Lisa showed up My jaw hit the floor.I could not believed CBS would air that episode.Even when we found out she was human.I loved the character(still do) but I thought she was a bit racy for a Saturday morning cartoon especially back then.
