a friend will go to new york, i would like to know where he can get mirage merchandise like 80s 90s & 2ks comic books Neca figures or even the new statutes thanks.

The internet. It's not so easy to just walk to a store and find stuff like that anymore. Neca figures are looooongggg out of production, you can barely even find those on ebay let alone for a good price. Figures haven't been in stores for years. Do you know that it's 2011? Also, where in New York are they going? Upstate, Long Island, Manhatten? New York itself is sort of a broad spectrum...

Again I ask, where in NY is your friend going? There are hundreds of comic book stores in New York dude...

& the statues are best bought directly from the company but they're sold out. Ebay may be the only option.

As Powder points out, the only TMNT you're likely to find in any given comic book store is the newest issues of the IDW series. You obviously have connection to the internet. If you insist on looking for a B&M store to look, you may as well Yelp comic book stores in New York and call around so you don't waste your time.

No problem man. I just think your perception of US based shops is off. This stuff really isn't on the shelves anymore and if it is its few and far between. I wish there was some TMNT store to point you to but there isn't. Like others have said the internet is likely your only hope to find most of this stuff. Good luck.

You may be able to find some Mirage books at Mid-Town Comics in Manhattan. You won't find any statues or NECA figures.
