Mutations: Prologue

Chinatown, New York
12:33 pm
Krang snarls. He's working on a new serum to genetically alter the Utrom race. Brainlike in appearance, they exist among us,intelligent. But Krang's intelligence is failing him. "*Croak* How can we produce such waste?" In his biomech, he groans. "*Skwawk*The algorithm is incorrect!" Walking towards the exit, He presses 'drain' on the control module. Leaving.

Beneath Chinatown
12:45 pm
Four Turtles, all born in the same swamp at the same time silently follow each other in the New York City Sewers. They pause to wade in the Pause to wade in a puddle. A Sewer rat lashes at the intruders of his puddle. The Lanky Brown mud turtle shells up as the other 3 attack the rat.

The North American sea turtle slaps and bites the creature. The other two, a Snapper and a Box corner it. Just before they can kill it-- "AWAY!" Shouts Hamato Yoshi. He is being trailed by the foot clan, and finds refuge in the sewers. He protects the turtles.

But, suddenly, Green goo falls on them all from a pipe of some sort. Like an omen. Rapidly, they mutate. The Turtles take form of a human! "AAghhh!" They scream. Yoshi mutates, too-- into a rat! "What is Happening?!"

The Turtles are now the size of 4 year old kids. "Father." Says one. " You are Boys...?" "Yep!" The lanky one says. " I think we got Muty-Tated." says the Box.
The snapping turtle still attempts to attack the damaged Rat on the ground. "How do we know english?" asks the Box."It seems we've obtained the memory and species likeness of 'Dad' here. That Stuff did it.

He points one of 3 green fingers at the green gel smoking on the ground. "Wow! you sure are smart, uh... What's your name?"
The box interjects. The Sea Turtle finally speaks-- but in japanese.

i hear your opinions about the story and from what i've seen, you guys like it. yes, I am reinventing the TMNT franchise by putting the best stories together. You may find that the whole first book is about the hunt for Raphael story arc from IDW, and that some pieces of the game on NES. maybe some of the war on new york story arc, and more. also, Ryu, I wanted that part to be awkward because their beginning was awkward, but turns into destiny. I hope you all enjoy the rest. itll be up come this sunday. thank you.
