I was doing some research and compiled the number of votes and ratings for each episode of the OT. If there is a tie, the most number of votes gets the higher ranking. Here is my findings:

Clearly this wasn't a poll; this was just some dipstick's own personal opinion!

I don't think it was a list from viewers who really know...much less remember the OT TMNT. It seems more like the average viewer was more interested in the titles (and beginning/premise of the OT) rather than looking into the entire OT series as a whole and comparing each episode.

I agree, if for no other reason that the "Mr. Ogg" episode was not on the worst list-and that "The Great Boldini" was actually on the best.

Years ago, Rolling Stone magazine featured "The 100 Best Songs Of Rock And Roll". It was not a poll, but the author's opinion, as indicated by the fact that the list included a large number 0f 1960's songs and half a dozen by Prince from the early 1980's. Am I the only one here who doesn't think that the Rolling Stones were all that wonderful?

You have to understand that people on TV.com tend to vote for shows they like too high or too radically low based on emotional rather than critical opinion. Episodes of shows that haven't even aired get a rating of 10.00. You guys are right, the list doesn't make sense at all but I think if more people voted the TV.com voting would balance itself out more for episodes like a 9.9 Cowabunga Shredhead which I think we can all agree clearly is an absurd rating to give that episode.

I second that! Some of the ones on the Worst list I thought were best! And some of the Best eps, like "Planet of the Turtleoids", a friggin' 2-part, prime time special, wasn't even ON the list at all!
