You people take this show way too seriously. *CONTROVERSIAL*

This goes to a group of Dromers, not every Dromer.

Many people are really taking this show seriously. Many people expect it to be the action fighting show of the century. The point of this show was to just make people laugh (and to sell the toys), and I think people haven't seen that.

For example, some wonder why Bebop and Rocksteady are so iconic, and when people reply back saying they're dumb and that's what makes them funny and iconic, and some reply back saying "That's dumb. They don't pose as a threat, why are they in TMNT?" Here's a good reason: the other villains didn't really pose as a threat, either. Bebop and Rocksteady made most of the comedy out of the show, and I don't think people really get that besides the mini-series and the red-sky seasons, the show was to make people smile, laugh, and to sell some toys.

Just had to get that out.

If you think the Turtles are being taken too seriously, have you ever heard of the old comic series Cerebus?

Seriously, it started life as a Conan The Barbarian parody series, and then as the years progressed it started taking up topics such as politics and religion, to the point it went to author Dave Sim's head and he got the idea he was creating deep, meaningful art (and some fans agreed). I don't think any Turtles fans have gone that far with this series.

When you have the head writer of the show saying if he'd has his way it would have stayed more action oriented then your argument kinda loses steam.

There's a difference between passionate and overly obsessive..... Most of you guys are fine, but some of you come off as having NO life whatsover outside of tmnt. Or you live just to Douchey McNitpick even the smallest of details.

It's like that one time where someone quoted another forum or website that mentioned how 'the people of the Technodrome' whine and complain about everything on the franchise and blah blah blah. Lots of you were all up in arms, defending our forum and insulting the other one. I was like 'uhhhhh..... guys, the're kinda right....'
