Below is a link to Peter Laird's latest "Blast From the Past". (Fans of CowBoys of Moo Mesa should really check it out.) But this one isn't just from the past, but the future as well!

He's giving us a sneak peak as to what the Leonardo statue (you know, those cold cast ones for $99 everyone's talking about) will look like. Too sweet!

Oh wow! The Leonardo statue is gonna look awesome! Now I've got to rethink buying those things...
*sigh*
And hey, I thought I'd never see one of the turtles hanging out with one of the CowBoys of Moo Mesa.

Laird says they're gonna be like a foot tall. Well worth the $99.

I personally think the paint brush just adds that finishing touch

Am I reading right? A foot tall?

Curse shipping, tax and excise!

"Each Turtle will stand about a foot high, I believe (though I could be off on that measurement)" - Laird.

Sounds like they're going to be rather tall at least. *squeal* I want one! I don't care what my roommates say.

Well, I know they're selling Leo (or at least having orders filled) at SanD. I'm not sure exactly how one would get the others when they come out.

Dan mentioned at the official site that they're trying to figure out a way for people to order via the website. I remember him mentioning this because he said that not everyone will be able to attend San D. I hope they find a way for us to purchase them...
*sigh*

I believe you're right, Nicko. The last turtle figure should be made available in 2003, I think. Wouldn't 2004 mark the twentieth anniversary of the turtles? I can't remember if they were created in '84 or 83.
