[Question] Links Allowed in Signature?

*CylonsKlingonsDaleksOhMy* · 01-08-2015, 02:44 PM

Question for the moderators:

As a hobby author who has self-published a few novels, am I allowed to have a link to my webpage in my signature? I've noticed that a few people have links to their blogs or deviantart pages, so I'm hoping it's okay, but I did want to check first...

Please advise!

I see a few members with ebay pages in their sigs.

As long as you're not here solely to promote/sell/spam non-TMNT works & the link is a standard size/unobtrusive, there shouldn't be a problem (unless you wrote smut novels or something).

Well, signatures seem to be giving me a bit of trouble... can't get links or pictures to embed properly, it seems?

Sorry to be a pain, but is there a handy thread discussing how to do this? Much appreciated!

HTML Code:

[URL="http://url goes here"]text to be displayed goes here[/URL]

You can also use an image in place of text, like I have done in my signature.
