Which 2012 turtle are you most like?

Over the years, we’ve seen the turtles develop in several different incarnations. Now, we are in season 3 of the 2012 Nick series, and we have seen each turtle grow and mature through various trials and hardships. We fans are truly invested in these characters and often times discover ourselves relating to them as well. I think we find a little piece of us in each character so it’s a little hard to decide which turtle we are most like… Still, Nick’s TMNT has managed to distinguish each one uniquely. So my question to you is: Which 2012 TMNT are you most like, and why?

I like to think that in my more formal moments I am most like Leonardo. He is responsible, dedicated, and hard-working. I take my work and school very seriously. If I don’t manage to make straight A’s, I complain. Yup. I’m that annoying person. And, Leo also has a bit of a nerdy/fun side! But…Who am I kidding? I have learned to accept the fact that whenever I watch TMNT I find myself either starting Michelangelo’s sentences or finishing them (as I often talk to myself when I watch TV. It’s not weird). For example!

Baxter: I am The Baxman.
Me: *shakes head*
Baxter: No! The Suitinator!
Me: Heeey. I like that one.
Baxter: Aw that’s terrible!
Me: Oh.
Michelangelo: I kinda liked the Suitinator.
Me: Thank you. Wait. e_e

Furthermore, I dislike confrontation. I’m the tactful person that typically breaks up arguments and gets along with almost anyone, even really difficult folks. I’m not a “party dude” though I enjoy the company of others. I’m compassionate, fun-loving, expressive, and really awesome at naming stuff. I often say and do silly things—not because I lack intelligence but because I enjoy making others smile and laugh. Plus, I find it exhausting and a complete waste of time if you’re constantly taking yourself too seriously. Like Mikey, I can be on the sensitive side which I might identify as a weakness or a strength depending on the situation. Another weakness is my impulsiveness. I will think really important things through, but often times I’ll blurt what’s on my mind or get wrapped up with an exciting new idea. I also come off as the “young” or naïve one. *shrugs* And I like comics and cartoons!

In THIS version? Donnie. If it were any other incarnation, I'd say Mikey, but this Mikey is just too dumbed-down and silly for me to relate to. Other than the occasional moment of compassion from him, we share little in common this time around. DONNIE, on the other hand.....

For me it's a pretty clean split between Leo's geek stuff/philosophies & Donnie's attitude but I guess overall I lean more towards the dude in blue, as I always do.

I've never thought I say this but probably a mix between Leo and Raph.

Difficult with this group since they're actually portrayed young for once and I'm more than twice the age, but even youngster Nick Leo has at least some of the usual Leo traits I find relateable like other versions.

For me it's Raph and it fits since he's my favorite turtle. I feel that way the most in episodes like Slash and Destroy and The Good, The Bad and Casey Jones where Raph is just angry with his brothers/family and needs time away to vent by himself.

Raph has said something like "They just don't understand." before in this show and it reminds me of what I'm thinking when I'm really angry about something. It doesn't happen that often with me personally, but when it does I just want to be left alone to cool down. I'm sure there are more examples in the Nick show of Raph doing something that reminds me of myself, but I just can't think of them right now.

I have to admit I have a bad temper sometimes and when I get mad I usually storm off and leave the room.

Mix of Leo and raph mainly though slightly more raph (which I find funny cause Leos my fave and always considered myself like him but I understand Nick raph more than the other tv versions), I have issues w being ordered around and feel more comfortable as a leader though in the past 8-9 yrs, my temper flares up easier, after a certain event that happened 2 me, I still have some rage moments but overall it's not as frequent as it was the 1st yr or so after it happened

I have some occasional random moments and am also pretty smart
