Steve Jablonsky to score TMNT 2

It looks like Steve Jablonsky will be doing the score for TMNT 2.

Yeah, He's done scores for the Transformers movies, Ender's Game, and Lone Survivor.

Steve Jablonsky is AMAZING. Not quite as good as Hans Zimmer, but he studied under him and worked with him.

Jablonsky is a FAR better choice than Brian Tyler.

Chalk this up to another executive decision that makes me feel a LITTLE better and LITTLE more optimistic about the sequel...

I've somehow managed to steer away from anything Jablonsky. But I'm certain that he's waaaay better than Brian Tyler. Actually, there are plenty of composers better than Brian Tyler. He's just really boring....

OH MY GOD.
THANK YOU.
This movie actually has something good going for it now. The only true good thing about the Transformers movies besides the CGI is the music. Jablonsky is going to create a great score: it's just what he does. At least he won't recycle a bunch of his old themes... *Cough Cough Tyler.*

I hope he can incorporate the classic TMNT theme to the score.

If he can do something like what the 2012 series did, which he probably could, then the score will be fantastic.
Honestly, his Dark of the Moon score was pretty amazing. "It's Our Fight" is one of my favorite movie soundtracks ever.

Even if its just little bits of the melody.

Dark of the Moon was so boring, I actually can't remeber any musical scores from it. Granted I only saw the movie once.

Maybe I should check out some off Steve's work.

Did he do that bitching track during the Scorponok attack in the first Transformers? Because that was great.

Not a clue... but if it's a choice to add some hope (or lots?), awesome.

Good to hear something about it, and not close to last minute like last time.

I think I have a reason to get the Transformers scores now: to get a sense of what the next TMNT film will be like musically.

He's good with themes, Check out the Autobots theme from the 1st Transformers film. That way you can get a sense of what his music is like.

Decepticons Theme

And the Arrival to Earth theme.

I love Jablonsky - I was saying he should have been used back when they were doing the First movie. His use of percussion and choirs is amazing.

I hope the score has more of a Japanese influence this time around.

Never heard of the dude, which is weird since 75% of all the music at own is film scores. Personally I would've liked John Willams, but this guy sounds like a start
