Raphael's "Berserker Rage"

This is from the TMNT Palladium RPG:

Quote:
Raphael has some kind of minor insanity that makes him the "crazy" man of the group. He has problems being controlled and cannot even control himself. When agitated, he has a 75% chance of going into a "berserker" rage. It takes several melee rounds for him to recover himself. He's fine most of the time, but when he gets into a berserker rage, watch out! This makes him an awesome fighter, but also a little hard to live with.
This "berserker rage" is never clarified in the RPG itself. Anyone have any ideas on how to implement it in game terms?? I was thinking of a temporary bonus to Physical Strength, Physical Endurance, Speed, and possibly SDC/Hit Points... with a temporary penlalty to Intelligence, Mental Endurance, Mental Affinity, and Physical Prowess.

What do you guys think??

Well, when they use Berserker in things like X men its sorta like a blind rage... anything in your way goes down...

For example, Wolverine goes into a berserker rage... kills every one in the hotel and has no idea what really happened afterwards...

Yeah, but I was thinking more in terms of game mechanics, though...

Hun, you're the only one here who would be able to truly figure those out...
Maybe if you up PP and speed... but make it where uhm... he LITERALLY cannot control his actions, i.e. anything near goes down... or something like that...

maybe that would work?

Speed maybe, but not PP. PP basically has to do with agility, balance, grace, precision, etc... a character with a low PP is clumsy. I wouldn't expect a berserk Raph to become more graceful, if yah know what I mean.

I was thinking of giving either a +2 or +4 bonus to PS, PE, and Spd as well as a +10 or +20 bonus to Hit Points... with a -2 or -4 penalty to PP, IQ, ME, MA, and maybe PB.

Just sum ideaz.

umm...

Well, it doesn't actually work like that.

Unless he was using both sai, he could only attack two opponents at once anyway....
