Splinter's book collection

Hey, I was scurtinizing Volume #1, Issue #1 when I noticed something cool.
A fully stocked book-shelf!

You can't see it on the official site's Issue #1 scans, so here's the panel.

And here's the bookshelf...

I figured we could discuss Splinter's choices of reading material

Pretty cool. I never noticed the books had actual titles. Most comics don't bother unless it's centrical to the plot.

I happen to know for a fact that the "Book of Five Rings" is a real book.

Yeah that one is great. Interesting find. Interesting what Splinter reads. THE NINJA! And he is into art history. There had to be some sort of art history book from where he named the turtles.

After seeing that, I just had to look at my copy of the first issue! Even when you're looking at the page itself, it's kinda hard to read those book titles. That's probably why I never noticed before.

Are any more titles shown in the first scene of the second issue?

*doesn't want to go through my large boxes to look for my TPBs* (stupid non-existing own room, where I can keep my stuff on shelves...)

Woah... I've never noticed those books before. I don't usually pay attention to details like that. Pretty cool find, Tetsu! I like the "Care/Turtle" book title, too. Funny stuff.
