I often wondered how many people actually buy these "directors cuts" of the books outside of hardcore fans. They basically re-release the same issue 3 months later with added stuff.

It looks like City At War is going to drag on since it is still two issues away despite Karai having shown up makes it feel like #91 is the kick off.

Yes, where is the Shredder in Hell conclusion?

I want to add to the "director's cut" question, are they different aside from behind the scenes pages? A director's cut movie usually has more footage and/or radically different scenes in place of what was in the theatrical cut, which either expands or alters the narrative. Do the director's cut comics have actual new story pages added or replacing old ones?

If I had to guess, they’re going to end up having to spread out shredder in Hell in order to have it line up with City Fall because there are probably spoilers involved

Some mixed feelings on this.

I'm pretty disappointed that there's no Shredder in Hell #4 announced for April. There seem to be 3 possibilities here- they're stretching it out, lowered the number of issues or they made a mistake and we're getting the issue in April. The first one seems the likeliest, and even if it is the case I'm a bit concerned. I absolutely adore the series so far but the long stretches between issues are the one thing that can negatively affect my interest in TMNT comics, but that's mostly me being impatient.

I like Wachter's art a lot but I do prefer Dialynas' and it's a bit of a shame that he gets to draw so little of the main run. Regardless, I'm fine with this though I'm still hoping that Dialynas or Santolouco will do the conclusion of City at War.

I LOVE the cover of #93. As a matter of fact, I love both of the covers. The first one just straight up looks badass while the second one really makes me question what's happening in this story, though it looks stellar. The emphasis being on Raph and Casey makes me so damn happy, and Hob lurking in the background is really interesting and somewhat terrifying. I wonder how the Turtles will actually end up being pitted against him. Will it have to do with him going after the Foot Clan and after Splinter? Yoshi worked with Bishop, after all. Hell, what does this mean for the rest of the Mutanimals?

AHHHHHH I can't wait for the next issue.

In my experience they often aren’t colored, instead showcasing the finished inks from the artist with nothing on them.

The second cover is just the first of eight homages to each of the eight years in the history of IDW TMNT and has no bearing on the actual issue's content. Sadly, if you ask me. Now I'll be trying to guess what the other seven will be right until the last one is revealed, I just know it.

Aw man, that's a shame, I got really excited there. I guess it makes sense though.

Still, I REAAAAALLY hope we get a Raph/Casey-oriented issue.
