TMNT/ST #1 already came out. I assume this is just IDW's regular practice of releasing a "deluxe" version of #1 several months later with production notes and early sketch art.

#3 was solicited for September and #4 for October. This is November, so the main series has already concluded by this point.

The Last Ronin stuff needs to end. You can't really milk a one-off elseworlds tale this much without diminishing returns.

I mean, imagine if Dark Knight Returns II, III, and IV came out right after the first one dropped, like 1 year later. It would've burned all of that goodwill out way early.

Why? People like it and it sells a lot. Took them about 2 years to release the first run, the next mini the following year, and the third will run into the following year. The figures sell, the video game is coming out, it's revitalized a lot of people's interest in the Turtles.

Then what would we be left with? Saturday Morning Adventures? Party of Five Turtles (the main IDW series)?

I can't imagine a greater insult to Casey's character than to have him become a lackey to a criminal murder gang that he was only signed on to be a "consultant". Ha, ha!

Shreddercon sounds kinda weird. With the exception of Star Trek cons or whatever, cons weren't really that much in the public eye in the 80's.

One thing I noticed, is that while they haven't exactly shown things like smartphones and tablets, we haven't exactly seen VCRs and walkmans featured in the comics either.
