either the website is down, or there is a traffic jam. This sucks! I want to see some Turtle's crap! NOW! Why did they have useless Metzco stuff first? Now I'll never be able to see what's going on. Why is there no other website!? Figures.com blows.

Figures.com does not blow. They're the only one that covered all the TMNT stuff at the Expo recently. Note that the first day of toy fair, usually does not allow press in unless they have invitations from specific companies to be there. Have patience, we'll be seeing some good stuff soon.

Nope, I fear I have no powers outside the News Section. That's where I was going to put more or less some sort of official Toy Fair thread. As soon as something actually turns up. And yep, I used to be Vintage Splinter. I snagged the Staff reserved 'Splinter' when they made me staff.

www.figures.com definitely isn't bad. They usually have the best coverage of these events(though the news there is quite lacking at other times of the year). Oh, and the Mezco stuff isn't useless, I know quite a lot of people are very happy about the announcement of Family Guy figures, even though I'm not interested in them.

Just a warning now though, there probably won't be that much new from TMNT. Especially since Playmates has supposedly cut back on what they're showing, so they won't have as much set up as they did last year. I hope they'll show something new, but it's not definite.

I'll sticky this, and I'm going to unsticky the "Figures.Com - Tons of New Figures Revealed!!" thread, since this one kinda replaces it.

I'm not even sure if Playmates section of Toy Fair is open yet... some of it started Thursday, but the full Toy Fair doesn't officially open until tomorrow. And I know Playmates booth will be open tomorrow. So I expect pictures then, though I doubt there'll be anything we haven't seen.

Nope, nothing yet. www.simpsonscollectors.com are going to put up coverage of Playmates at Toy Fair tonight, but I think they're only covering the Simpsons line, not Playmates other stuff.

I've checked with my contacts. Playmates coverage will be going up at the sites this afternoon. Lotsa turtle goodness. Unfortunatly, I'm hearing that most of it is stuff we've already seen. And that Usagi Yojimbo is not on display.

We are getting closer...

Figures.com has added playmates with subcatagory TMNT to the site under toy fair just no pictures yet. Hopefully in a few hours we will see some new TMNT goodness. LOOK!

The TMNT subcats are 5" figures, 12" figures and ULTIMATE Figures.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
12:59pm EST
50 pictures posted...notta one we havent seen yet...booooooo
I really need a life if all I have to do is click refresh every 30 seconds to see the new TMNT figures...damn 80s nostalsia...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Changes since old pictures of same toys...

-Turtle Titan now has a grapling hook
-giant mouser now has rocket launching things on shoulders -space hoppin turtles are the ones from the official site not the ones shown at 2003 toy expo
-leatherhead now has a mase as a weapon/accessory
-turtle toddlers have new more kiddie weapons

1:09pm EST - 101 pics posted

appears that there will be some time till more are posted at least in the 5" catagory as the 101 were posted ridiculously fast and now there is a delay...
