I know how stupid I am for not knowing this but what is Splinter's real name?

Uh in the original Mirage comics I think he was named Splinter by Hamato Yoshi

In the old toon he actually is Hamato Yoshi, but 'we named him Splinter for obvious reasons' (so the narration says I think)

Actually Yoshi named him Mr. Jiggles. The TMNT named him Splinter. Splinter preffered that name.

Splinter in Mirage, Image, and the new cartoon is and always was Splinter. Splinter in the old cartoon and Archie, was Hamato Yoshi.
