Are there any websites for TMNT toys? (good ones lol)

I usually wouldn't post something like this but honestly the eBay market isn't that great... maybe cuz the figures are too new
but does anyone know of websites with semi-decent prices ($10 max I guess) for some of the newer figures?
I do my fair share of Turtle hunting but I'm really dying for some Turtle Toddlers and Armorized Shredders

but why is it that if Playmates makes a really good figure/product that they make scarce amounts and tons of lame variants? (like 12 Turtle Variants, and 1 Turtle Toddlers + 3 other things in one case)... If it's going to sell really well, why not produce more?

None of the on-line retailers seem to deal in TMNT. I don't know why. Maybe because they're so easy to locate in the stores, they don't feel it's worth the time. Ebay's pretty decent. Or if you have a tiny bit of patience, most of the figures show up regularly in stores after a while.

Playmates hasn't been making scarce ammounts. They've been making tons of figures. And the line is really popular, that's why they sell out when they first hit. But give it a while, and they do turn up. You just need to have a bit of patience and give them time.

As for calling it lame varients, there has only been 3 different basic versions of the TMNT figures released so far. All of them very different then the others. And it's not like they are ignoring the other characters when they do them. They have to keep the turtles fresh on the market. Because they sell the best with kids.

Just look at what we have so far. It's fairly even across the board actually more focus is given to the non-turtle figures this year. Unlike lines like He-Man or Batman, where it's nothing but the main character. TMNT has been doing a good job of doing the TMNT that do sell the best. But not ignoring other figures as well.

2003 Basic TMNT Figures - Turtles: 12 Non-Turtles: 11
2004 Basic TMNT Figures - Turtles: 9 (w/ 4 Toddlers) Non-Turtles: 23

Yeah.. I could see the appeal in the fighting/sports variants but I don't like em too much and it seems like they're shelfwarmers for the most part

I DO LIKE for sure how they reissue some figures
toys should be made for peoples/kids enjoyment, not completely for collectors
I'm a lil bit of a bitter Simpsons collectors
I have at least 200 of the Simpsons figures... not to mention the playsets.. Oh God the playsets....
