And I thought people on E-bay were insane...

Would you or anyone you know willingly pay that much for an April figure?

Is it just a regular April action figure or is it some special ToyWiz limited edition? Why in the heck would it be that much? April's not even a rare figure. There's tons of her at my local Wal-Mart. Ridiculous!

Don't even get me started on ToyWiz. Let me put it this way, I don't know of any other store that deserves to be closed more than them. The high prices are just the surface problem... the real issue is that ToyWiz is owned by Ken Shamus, brother of Gareb Shamus who's in charge of Wizard Entertainment. Which just happens to publish ToyFare, the most popular magazine with a toy price guide. See the implications here? If not, this incident should make things clearer: http://www.mwctoys.com/FEATURE_072301.html

Yeah, there hasn't been an April figure around here for awhile. Probably not for a few months or so. But there's no way I'd pay that price...
