Most Beautiful issue art

Ronin_of_Kirai · 04-29-2004, 10:26 AM

Which is your favorite in terms of art in the TMNT comics. Although I really loved TMNT #1 I choose the Leonardo one shot cause 90% of the book was art no sound effects or anything. It was beautiful.

Peanut · 04-29-2004, 10:33 AM

I agree. I love the Leonardo one shot.

xZAOx · 04-29-2004, 11:26 AM

The Leonardo one shot is my favorite issue, always has been. I just love the way its told.

**Barkworm** · 04-29-2004, 01:27 PM

TMNT #50 is gorgeous.

*Taloniss* · 04-29-2004, 01:42 PM

I'll add in a vote of the Leo one shot.

Aztec General · 04-29-2004, 02:41 PM

Probably #50 but #21 is a close second.

impetus · 04-29-2004, 04:29 PM

Ive heard of this but could you tell me whats it about?

impetus · 04-29-2004, 08:30 PM

no, actually... not without ruining it.

You must try to locate it and read it for yourself, I should not spoil it for you.

(If you really want a spoiler there's blurbs at the official TMNT site)

I've read them...I didnt understand just looked like a off beat TMNT story

Mobius One · 05-10-2004, 01:10 PM

hmm, if this was covers, i would have to say TMNT the collected book4 (Return to new york). An amazing painting by AC Farley. Hmm, comic wise, maybe The River.

05-13-2004, 07:59 AM

When it comes to cover art, I also like the 4 graphic novels. When it comes to interier comic art, I like the Leonardo TMNT micro series book.

Loolaa · 05-23-2004, 12:27 PM

I loved #43, Halls of Lost Legends the best. I love Farley's art.

**HorseTechie** · 05-24-2004, 10:55 AM

But, I can't pick one. I'll just list my favs...

AC Farley's art is awesome. His cover art is just as impressive, especially the ones for City at War.

I also second Michael Zulli's Trilogy. Very awesome. And I also own a panel from this. Here's the links to the Mirage site for a summary.

Twilight of the Rings is plain intricate. All the detailing in any comic that is by Rick McCollum is like.. wow!

I also like the books that Dan bErger and Eric Talbot had a hand in too.

sebastiano · 06-09-2004, 04:32 AM

for me it's the whole image turtles series

fantastic story, nice drawings, gloomy and kewl

*raphael_is_cool* · 06-09-2004, 02:37 PM

Just got a load of old mirage comic books today (see the 'Lucky Me' thread for details) and Leonardo #1 was one of them

That has to be my favourite out of what I've seen. Great artwork and everything

*Dane E5R* · 06-09-2004, 03:04 PM

Dreamwave TMNT...All of them, heh.

*Raven* · 06-10-2004, 01:53 PM

the return to new york issues, and i think it was issue 62 of city at war that I liked the most.

host_punktmy · 06-10-2004, 01:55 PM
