*Splinter and Machias slowly made their way to the T-Drome, when she paused.*

I'm geting a wierd feeling too, now...like someone else is down here, or nearby... *she looked down back from where they had come, and back to her sensei.*

Sp: I do not doubt that the others are looking for us...

Hmmm, I'm gonna send out a mental message to anyone who can hear us....

Sp: Do not overexert yourself, Machias, you need enough strength to get out of here...

I'll try and be careful, Sensei...*she knelt down, closing her eyes and slowing her breath.*

~If anyone can hear this, we are inside the mountain. we are fine, but we seem to have found the technodrome. Please, come quickly...~

*She shivered, her neck and head pounding in pain. She had done too much. the morph had already weakened her, and doing the lift up the hill hadnt helped either. she only hoped that someone would hear her and come to them...*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew and Krang continued to watch the news coverage of the zombie attack. Nothing was ever mentioned of the robbery which they new was going on nearby. She suddenly had the oddest sensation, like something or someone was nearby. She brushed away the feeling when one of the lights on a nearby control panel began blinking. SC reached over to push it. The screen shifted to the entry bay. Shredder and his two mutants were back!*

:kgrin: *Krang let out a happy cry when he saw them carefully unloading his precious apparatus.* They did it! For once they actually did it! Lets go down to the bay and make sure they don't drop it now, Skeletoncrew. Skeletoncrew?

*Krang looked at the closing door. She was already on her way.* Women!

[Machias Banshee]

*Splinter and Machias hid behind a stalagmite as they watched Shredder and his two mutants unloading some equipment.*

*whispers* what are they doing?

Sp: I am unsure, but it is most likely something that will cause a lot of trouble...

Oh i wish the others were here...

Sp: As do i, as do i...

*creature continues to circle the island and its prey, never showing more than its back and metal dorsal fin as it moves*

[Machias Banshee]

*Mike inched back from the black water, grimacing*

Mike: Why did i have to watch Jaws last night, of all things?

*more shapes appear in the water from a distance, moving quickly toward the island as well*

[Machias Banshee]

Mike: :teek: Wh-wh-what's goin on!? Is there a feeding frenzy or something???

[enigma-1]

*creature moves away, approaching the other shapes in what soon becomes an all out battle*

*voice from behind* I wouldn't exactly call it a feeding frenzy, but it is a fighting frenzy.

[Machias Banshee]

*Mike jumped, almost landing in the water*

Mike: Jeezum! Dont scare me like--wait, that wasnt kali... *gets that 'deer in the headlights' look again, and turns to the voice*

[Skeletoncrew]

((I'll leave it up to you whether or not Splinter and Machias can tell its me.))

*Skeletoncrew bounces out the door towards Shredder and his goons, she's still kinda goofy from her raising of the zombies, and is still wearing her costume with the hood of her cloak up, though not the mask. She runs up to Shredder who is supervising the unloading of the last few parts and gives him a very careful hug.*

You made it!

Shredder: Of course we did, you didn't think the mission would fail with me in charge did you?

*flashes him a big grin* Nope!

Shredder *taking off mask and giving her a kiss*: You seem awfully bubbly, what's gotten into you?

Its a side effect of the necromancy. I'm surprised you hadn't noticed before. It makes me feel really GOOD. *Whispering* So are you going to be done here soon? I was thinking maybe we could...celebrate? *winks*

Shredder: Oh. Well, I'll just have to make sure all of this gets to Krang's lab.

[enigma-1]

*leaning on the rocks, a blue-green young girl sits, half in the water, half out; in one hand, she bears a spear and uses the other to hold onto the rocks*

Hi, I'm Sagala. Sorry if I scared you.

[Machias Banshee]

*unfortunately, it was at that exact moment that Machias, without warning, came down wih a violent sneezing spell*

*Achooo!*

:teek: Oh fudge...

[Skeletoncrew]

*Shredder, Rocksteady, and Bebop immediately turn towards the noise, the mutants nearly dropping the last item in the process. Skeletoncrew spins around until she sees where everyone else is looking. Shredder unholsters his blaster*

Shredder: You idiots! Set that down carefully! Rocksteady! *Shredder indicates for him to circle left towards the origin of the noise.* Bebop! *He motions him to circle right. Shredder begins to quietly move straight towards the stalagmite.*

*Skeletoncrew also unholsters her weapon and walks over to where they have a bank of lights set up to illuminate the cavern. She turns them so that they're trained on the spot where little does she know, two of her friends are hiding.*

[Machias Banshee]

Oh f***, why did i have to do that!!!

Sp: Machias! Shh! Be ready to defend yourself...

*panicked look* But I dont know how!

Sp: Yes you do--wait...I feel it again.

Oh no, theyre coming!!!! *As fast as she could, she grabbed onto Splinter, concentrated, and brought a mental shield around them, blocking them from view. Hopefully...*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Rocksteady and Bebop circle the stalagmite and stop, about 30 feet between them.*

Bebop: Duh, boss there's nothing back here!

Shredder: What? There's got to be someone here! I distinctly heard a sneeze!

Rockstead: Well, there ain't no one behind these rocks! And I don't see no other hiding places here.

*Krang emerges from the Technodrome and calls out: What's going on? Why haven't you brought my equipment in?

Shredder: I think there's a trespasser down here! We heard something. *He continues to walk towards the stalagmite.* Stay where you are, and be ready!

[Machias Banshee]

*her head was pounding, but she couldnt stop. she didnt want to get killed or worse by Shredder and his goons...but she was losing strength fast.*

C-cant--d-d-doo--m-much--l-l-ong-ng-er-r-r-r.....

*the dome faded ever so slightly, letting their ghost-like figures show...*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Shredder rounded the stalagmite just as Splinter and Machias began to show. He let out a cry of delight and trained his blaster on Machias.*

Shredder: I knew it! Surrender quietly you old rat or the girl gets it!

*grinning Rocksteady and Bebop back Shredder up.*

*Skeletoncrew had been approaching, but she stopped dead in her tracks when she heard Shredder speak. Did he say 'old rat'? Oh no...*

[Machias Banshee]

*Machias was frozen with fear. So much for the ninja in training...Splinter slowly rose, keeping a hand on her shoulder, a look of rage in his eyes.*

Sp: Leave her out of this...this is between you and I...

*stops after they've walked awhile, checking her scanner again* Slag it all. These readings still don't make any sense.

[Machias Banshee]

Don: What do you mean?

*Leo looked out over the dark waters, trying tosee if there was any trace of the others. He felt as though it was his fault that so many of them had disappeared. His worry made him all the more persistent to find his family members. That was when he noticed something odd in the rocks.*

Leo: Hey guys, does that look familiar to you?

*They followed his gaze to the large white and blue orb sticking out of the rock*

The stupid thing says there's something big right near us, but I can't get a clear reading on it because there's some weird signals coming from this area.

*looks to where Leo points* What the? Is that what I think it is?

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew hears what sounds like Splinter's voice and her heart pounds harder. She finds herself unable to move.*

Shredder *in a haughty voice*: I've got better things to do tonight than fight you!

*Rocksteady fires a blast from his stun gun directly at Splinter knocking him unconsious.*

*Shredder turns his gaze to Machias.* Now, do we need to do the same to you? Or are you going to come along quietly?

[Machias Banshee]

Leo: *frowns* yes it is, and i have a feeling i know where the others are now...come on!

*Leo leapt down the mountain until he got to the giant eye of...THE TECHNODROME!!!!*





*Machias dropped down beside Splinter's body, trying to wake him.*

You...you ass****! How could you do that! You didnt even give him a chance! What kind of goddamn ninja uses stupid blasters anyways!!!

*She felt her insides burn, and in a fury, she ripped off her facial mask, revealing her reptilian visage*

*races after him* Wait up!

*follows after, nearly tripping over the edge before catching her balance* Wait. This is it. This is what kept messing up my scanners.

[Skeletoncrew]

*In his suprise Shredder fires his weapon at Machias, stunning her as well.*

Shredder *to the also shocked mutants*: Hurry up and get them into some holding cells, there may be more around here!

*Rocksteady and Bebop scoop up Machias and Splinter and run back to the Technodrome past Skeletoncrew. She looks after them in horror, recognizing her friends. Shredder jogs up to her.*

Shredder: What's wrong, you're even paler than usual!

*Getting no response he shakes her shoulder and she lets out a gasp.*

Shredder: Snap out of it honey! We may be in danger! I want you to get back inside and go wait for me in the control room. I'm going to get the last few things brought inside and lock up.

*Skeletoncrew nods and breaking into a shakey run. Krang has already re-entered the Technodrome and bugun activating the alarms and defense system.*

[Machias Banshee]

*Raph paused at the sound of blaster fire*

Something's going on...better check it out...

*He grabs onto the Drome and starts to climb to an airvent, and starts for the holding area*



*Leo found a weak spot in the paneling, and wrenched it open. Donnie climbed in, offering enigma a hand as well. Once they were all in, Donnie pulled the map he kept in his belt, and unrolled it onto the floor*

don: Well, let's head to the bridge and see what theyre doing here...




*Mike stared in disbelief at the creature before him.*
Mike: ...I'm not dreaming, am i?

*follows after them, drawing a sabre as they head toward the noises* I have a bad feeling about this, guys.


Sagala: *chuckles* Nope, I'm just as real as you two are, Turtle boy. I came to see if you're okay. That steeljaw didn't hurt you, did he?

[Skeletoncrew]

*Rocksteady and Bebop quickly deposit Machias and Splinter into seperate cells, first removing anything on them that they might use as weapons. They then return to the bay to bring in the last of the equipment.*

*Skeletoncrew stops in one of the Technodrome's many corridors, her legs shaking and crumples to the floor. She has no idea what to do. She can't allow her friends to be hurt, but then...She groans* Why did I have to fall in love with a bad guy? Maybe I can convince him not to hurt them or anything. Just let them go...Gods I hope they're alright.

*She stands and goes to get her mask. She'd put it on and go make sure that they're okay first.*

[Machias Banshee]

*Groan....* Wha..?

*Machias woke, finding herself inside a small holding cell. Panicking, she scratched wildly at the glass trying to escape.*

Splinter! Where are you!?

Sp: *shakes head, groaning* I am here, child...

*she spun to see Splinter sitting up in the tube beside her. she slowed her breath, looking at their surroundings.*

How are we going to get out?

Sp: Do what your mind alows you...

Huh? Oh.....umm, there!

*she looked to the controls, which have a toggle that reads 'open cell' and 'close cell'. Closing her eyes, she reached out with invisible hands, gripped the switch, and with a reassuring fwish, opened her cell.*

I'll get you out as soon as i can Sensei!

*She looked through the switches and found the one that opened the second cell. She helped Splinter out of his prison, and they started for the door when a figure suddenly stood before them*

Uh-oh.....

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew was shocked to find Machias and Splinter escaping from their cells when she opened the door. She froze again, not that she'd stand a chance against Splinter anyway.*

Sp: Skeletoncrew!

Machias: What?!

[Skeletoncrew]

((I'm wearing a full face mask. You really recognized me that quickly?))

[Machias Banshee]

Sp: I knew i recognized your presence...*He kinda figured that her and The shreddhead were going at it, but said nothing* Please, you must help us find a way out...

SC? Why are you here?

[Skeletoncrew]

Uh, its kinda a long story, you remember Eric?...but um, yeah, I'll get you out of here. Follow me.

*Blushing maddly behind the mask, Skeletoncrew led the way down the corridor hoping that they wouldn't ask any more questions.*

[Machias Banshee]

Sp: Wait, we do not want you to come into any danger. I know the technodrome enough to get us out.

*He looked at Machias, then back to SC*

Sp: We can make it look as though you did not know we had escaped until we ambushed you...and locked you into one of the holding cells. That way suspicions will not be raised...

[Skeletoncrew]

((Sorry, but I'm going to have to log off now. I'll be back tomorrow!))

No! If Saki thinks you hurt me or anything he'll go nuts!

*Splinter raises an eyebrow*: Saki? So you are on a first name basis with him.

Ummm...

*An alarm goes off*

Thats for a different area, sounds like they're going to be distracted as it is. Were the guys with you?

*Splinter gives SC a look before following Machias down the hall*

*Kali sighed in relief* Thanks for the help, Sagala. Mike, we should probably get back to the beach and the others. *mumbles under her breath* Because we aren't helping any out here.

[Machias Banshee]

*Mike nodded and was about to turn back, when his Turtlecom suddenly beeped.*

Mike: Mike here...

Raph: Good I got you...We got one hell of a problem here...you wont believe where i am right now...

[Vespera Blaze]

*She swore to herself softly as she lowered herself into the cavern. Even with her arms fully extended it was a drop of a good three feet. She picked herself up and glanced around.*

Oh my...

*The technodrome stood before her inside the cavern. She hugged close to one of the walls, skirting the edges of the cave as she looked at the huge machine. A side corner of her mind wondered if it would see a large white rabbit in a waistcoat go bustling by any second now, muttering about being late. Curiousity getting the better of her, she crept forward for a better view*

Sagala: Hey, anytime. We can give you a lift back once the steeljaw's gone if you want but then it's good-bye. We still have to find those other two or Trident's gonna have our necks.

[Machias Banshee]

Mike: Other two? Master Splinter and Machias?!

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew gazed at the retreating forms of Machias and Splinter. That had been a heck of a look he'd given her. As near as she could figure it was a mixture of warning, displeasure, and pity. She sighed and set off in the opposite direction, wanting to reach the control room before all hell broke loose. Or before she ran into anyone else she knew. She could only imagine how the Turtles would react to her presence.*

[enigma-1]

Sagala: *nods* Yeah, I think that's their names. Trident has us looking for them as a favor to some land dweller he knows. But so far, all we've found is you.

[Machias Banshee]

Mike: Oh, i hope theyre okay....

[enigma-1]

Sagala: Hey, look on the bright side. At least the steeljaw didn't get them or else it wouldn't have cornered you two.



*feeling more than a bit on edge, especially when the alarm goes off* Great. What'd we trigger now?

[Machias Banshee]

Leo: Security alarms...be on the defense...



*Raphael made his way through the vents. He stopped at the sound of voices*

~Great. What'd we trigger now?~

Raph: that sounds like Enigma! Better check it out...

*Quietly, he opened one ofthe cieling vents and looked down at the three familiar figures. With a grin, he climbed out and dropped to the floor behind them.*

Raph: What brings you guys here?!

[azure turtle]

(( OOC: Time to play a little game of cat an mouse! :D ))

*After Raphael had left the beach in a bad mood, Azure decided to slip away from the group and do some investigating along the coast. He returned to the spot everyone was at earlier, but there was no sign of his friends. He looked about and noticed several footprints heading one way, and one set of footprints heading another way*

Those must be Raph's footprints... It seems like the others left in a group. I better follow Raph. He might need some help...

*He followed the footprints until he reached a giant hole in the ground. Raphael was nowhere to be seen, but his tracks lead right up to the hole.*

Oh no!! What if he's injured?!

*Azure jogged towards the hole and peeked in. To his great surprise, he saw a strange girl who seemed to be entranced by something.*

Who is that? And what is she looking at? Could she be working for the Foot?

*Suddenly, another worry hits Azure*

What if she attacked Raph?? I gotta help him out...

*Azure silently hopped into the cavern and slowly approached the girl. Her back was turned to him, and he had the perfect chance to ambush her. But something caught his eye that made him freeze completely.... THE TECHNODROME! :razz: *

[Vespera Blaze]

*Manjari looked up, and up and up at the huge, tank? in the cavern. She really didn't know what it was, but it was huge, and it was on treads, so she was guessing that it could be moved. She glanced side to side and noticed another outcropping of rock she could hide behind off to her left. She inched her way backwards, and then turned to make her way through the debris towards her intended hiding place.

*She pivoted, and came face to face with the blue turtle she had seen on the beach. She yipped in startlement, and backpedaled quickly, eyes darting left and right, frantically hunting an escape route.*

*Azure was so busy staring in awe at the Technodrome that he almost forgot about the girl. Until she turned around*

Yipe!!

*His instincts told him to run, but his ninja skills told him to defend himself. Caught between two emotions, he decided it was best to run first and defend later*

Oh-man-oh-man-oh-man, she saw me! I'm dead meat!

[Vespera Blaze]

*She scrambled to her feet, and flat out bolted for the other hiding spot she had seen. The big round thing, the cave, even the turtle she had originally followed completely forgotten, driven out of her mind by the blue turtle she had just seen. She dived over the rock, then tentatively peeked over it, trying to see if he had followed her. She held her backpack by the straps in one hand, hoping it would make an effective weapon if she needed it.*

[enigma-1]

*spins around at the sound of the voice, nearly skewering Raph on the end of her drawn sabre before she recognizes him*

Primus, don't do that! I could've split you in half.

[Machias Banshee]

Raph: *snert* Nice seeing you too...

[enigma-1]

Don't even start, Raphael.

*sheaths her sabre* How'd you get in here anyway?

[Machias Banshee]

Raph: through the vents...Didnt realize you guys found this place too.

Leo: I wouldnt doubt that Machias and Master Splinter are somewhere in here too...

[enigma-1]

*pulls out her scanner again* Let me see. Now that we're inside and I know what the problem is, I might be able to get a fix on them.

*scanner starts beeping, but there's still a lot of static* Slag.

[Skeletoncrew]

*Preoccupied, Skeletoncrew doesn't hear the hushed voices of Raphael and Enigma nor the beeping of her scanner. She rounds the corner and seeing the group, skids to a halt*

Oh crap!

*Skeletoncrew turns to run the other way.*

[Machias Banshee]

*Leo sees movement outof the corner of his eye and sees a form retreating fast.*

Leo: hey, stop that person!!!

[enigma-1]

*scanner beeps, recognizing the lifesign, but Enigma doesn't notice*

After you!

[Machias Banshee]

*Leo, don and Raph quickly reach the figure and tackles them to the ground. They pull back the mask and gasp*

Leo/Don/Raph: SC?!?!?!?!

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew looks up at the Turtles wide eyed.*

Uh. Hi?

Leonardo: What's with the outfit and why are you here?

Um, I, I...

*Skeletoncrew is interrupted by the arrival of Shredder, Rocksteady and Bebop. Shredder's eyes go wild at the sight of the three Turtles piled on top of SC. He roars in anger*

Shredder: Get off of my woman NOW!

[Machias Banshee]

*Machias and Splinter hear a yell and stop.*

That was Shredder!

sp: Come, we must see what is happening...

*they ran through the hall and came up to the group*

Sp/Machias: Turtles?!

[Skeletoncrew]

*Shredder and his goons stood their ground, not wanting to fire with Skeletoncrew in the middle.*

Raph *brandishing his sai menacingly*: YOUR woman?

Don *looking at SC*: Is that true?

Uhhh, oh Gods...

Leo *Keeping his eye on Shredder, but glancing at her as well*: Skeletoncrew?

Shredder: How do you know her name?!

[Machias Banshee]

Sp: She is one of our acquaintances....

Yeah, jerkoff!!!

[Skeletoncrew]

*Shredder eyes Skeletoncrew suspiciously.* Is this true?

Would you guys let me up?!

*The three turtles release SC and she stands up directly between the two groups. She keeps looking from one to the other.*

*looking at the Turtles* Okay. Yes. I'm dating Saki, well actually I'm living with him. He's 'Eric'. I didn't know who he really was until I moved here.

[Machias Banshee]

You couldnt tell by all the frickin' armor!?

[Skeletoncrew]

*rolls eyes* He wasn't wearing any when I met him. Might I remind you that I showed all of you a photo of him and NONE of you recognised him?

Raph: Let me get this straight? You've been doing the nasty with him? *points at Shredder with a look of disgust*

Shredder: Up yours freak!

*Skeletoncrew turns back to Shredder and steps towards him.* And yes, I know them, I consider them friends.

[Machias Banshee]

Sp: Although that may be in question now.....

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew's heart ached at Splinter's words and tears threatened to spill from her eyes.*

Shredder: So, does that mean that you're the one who let them know where we've been hiding out?

No! I'd never betray you! But then, I'd never betray them either.

[Machias Banshee]

*Machias looked to Splinter. She could tell that he was thinking. What was he doing?*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Shredder frowned. His first instinct was anger towards Skeletoncrew, but he felt genuine love towards here and hated to just throw their relationship away. On the other hand, she had been in the midst of his enemies, and could prove to be a great liability should she decide to leave him. She knew too much about the Technodrome. But then, she probably knew just as much about them...that could be exceedingly useful.*

[Machias Banshee]

Sp: Skeletoncrew, you obviously have feelings for Shredder. Let us go, my students, and leave them together...

*The turtles and Machias looked at each other before turning away*

[Skeletoncrew]

Rocksteady: Grrr...boss, we ain't just gonna let them go are we?!

Bebop: Yeah boss, I wanna shoot some toitles!

Shredder: No. Not this time.

*Skeletoncrew felt herself fading under the looks of absolute disgust that some of her friends gave her as they left. She attempted to wave* Bye. *And then in a tiny voice.* Sorry.

[Machias Banshee]

*Splinter looked back at her one last time. His face was a mixture of disappointment, as well as understanding. Then the group disappeared from sight...*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew didn't see the look Splinter gave her. She collapsed in a heap in the middle of the hallway crying. Shredder dismissed the mutants with orders to monitor the Turtles and make sure they left the Technodrome immediately, but not to interfere unless they attempted some sabotage. He gazed down at his girlfriend, uncertain of what to do. He didn't like uncertainties. Was she on his side, or theirs?*

[Machias Banshee]

*Machias couldnt help but feel sorry for SC and her situation. She loved her family, but yet she loved her boyufriend as well...she looked to splinter*

Splinter...are you sure this is the right thing to do?

*Splinter gave her a knowing look before continuing on in silence*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew looked up at Shredder. Her voice trembled.* If you want me to leave, I'll understand.

*Shredder squats down and scoops her up in his arms*: No. I don't want you to leave.

*She bursts into tears and hugs his neck.* Thank you! I'm so sorry about all this!

Raph *to no one in particular*: You don't seriously believe that they're just going to let us walk out of here, do you?

[Machias Banshee]

Sp: I do not know, Raphael. So far they seem to have any quarrels with us...

*they reached the exit of the technodrome and paused. With a heavy sigh, they left the structure...*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Shredder carries her to their chambers and sets her on the bed.*: Why don't you take a bath or something to calm down. I'll go straighten things out with Krang. He's going to be livid that they all got away.

*Meekly* Okay. I'm really sorry that I'm causing all of this trouble.

Shredder: I know. *He starts to leave, but she jumps up and puts a hand on his arm.*

You really are going to let them go aren't you?

Shredder: This time, yes. But you know full well that we are sworn enemies. When I next have the opportunity I will not be merciful.

*Skeletoncrew swallowed* Yes. I know.

[Machias Banshee]

*They followed Raph's original route, and made their way to the surface.*

Man, I wonder what's gonna happen now...Uh, where's Mike and Kali?

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew took Shredder's suggestion and retreated to the bathtub. She was both physically and mentally exhausted. Her mind kept flitting over everything that had happened. They knew now that she was living with their greatest enemy. Yet Splinter had decided to leave her in peace. Not mental peace of course, but a huge fight could have erupted, and whichever side won, her loved ones would have been hurt.*

*What was I thinking? That I could stay with Saki forever? Somehow keep him apart from them? No. I knew that this would happen eventually. They'd find out, he'd find out. I'd be forced to choose between them. That hadn't happened yet though, had it?*

[Machias Banshee]

*Splinter walked in lead position, his minding grinding at break neck speed*

~ I know Skeletoncrew will do the right thing, whatever it may be...~

[Skeletoncrew]

*Shredder and Krang had a monumental arguement over Skeletoncrew. Krang wanted to force her to provide information on the Turtle's secret location. Shredder admittedly wanted the same information, but wasn't going to allow her to be coerced into talking. *Skeletoncrew was awakened several hours later by Saki climbing into bed next to her. He didn't say anything, just began behaving amorously. She melted into his embrace, certain that everything was alright.*

*A while later, they lie in bed talking.*

Shredder: Krang is extremely unhappy. He wants information from you concerning the location of the Turtles, and anything else you might happen to know.

No! I won't tell him anything! Its none of his--

Shredder: Shhhh, I told him that. But he's not as convinced as I am that you're not a threat to us. He wants proof of your loyaltly.

Proof of my loyalty? To him? I have no loyalty to him! I'm here because of you and you alone.

Shredder: Shhh, I know and I appreciate that. However, you have to understand that this is HIS Technodrome and as much as it may grate at me, I work for HIM. You need to make some sort of show of allegience towards him, or I can't justify having you here, or even seeing you any more.

*Starting to get tearful* So what do you want me to do? I won't do anything that will hurt them! I'm sorry if you don't like that, but I can't.

*Shredder pulled her closer and began to whisper her in her ear. His suggestion wouldn't hurt anyone, and she wouldn't have to share anything she knew about her friends, but it made her cry nonetheless. He told her to sleep on it, and she turned her back to him to think it over. She knew now what a bad situation she was in. The man she loved might not hurt her, but the one he obeyed most certainly would. He had to be appeased.*

*splinter left them, and returned to the plain.*

*The cool ocean breeze stroking her face as she flew low over the blue water reminded Red just how much she needed this downtime away from the city. The sudden murmur of voices startled her and she opened her eyes just in time to notice a small group of three...well...something or other, right under her path of flight. She squinted to get a better look... Giant turtles??*

What the??! Woah!

*Suddenly realizing that she was flying a bit too low and perhaps too close to them, she took her eyes away from the distraction and made a sharp right turn, barely leaving herself enough time to retract her wings before she plunged, fully clothed, into the water*

*Mike and Kali were still sitting on the rock, talking to hte strange individual from the sea when they heard a splash*

*Red quickly surfaced, spitting out a mouthful of water before catching her breath. It didn't take her very long to see the three pairs of eyes staring at her, obviously startled. She turned to them with one of her characteristic "Im innocent, please don't hurt me" grins*

*A greyish, metallic shape caught Mike's attention, and it didn't take a genious to find out that the splash had suceeded to draw the shark back towards them*

*A puzzled look crossed Red's face as she saw the Turtle's eyes widen, and it only took a quick glance over her shoulder to send her scrambling up beside the human, turtle, and the seacreature.*

That is, until she realizes that she's stuck here too, and if he can't climb out on his own, chances are she won't be able to either.*

*Nervously she eyes the big round tank and decides that she's going to have to do something about the situation, as there was no way she was staying down here with that thing. It was the turtle that got her attention in the first place, and they seemed intelligent, maybe she should talk to him. With a gulp she stepped out from behind the boulder purse gripped in white knuckles.*

*Mike looked out over the water, in the direction Red was pointing. His eyes widened in surprise at the partial figure he, somehow, managed to recognize*

Mike: Wait a sec...we've gotta turn back there! Its MACHIAS!!

*Machias saw them wave, and responded, when something suddenly clamped down on her thigh. She was barely able to scream when she was dragged underwater.*

Mike: Machias!! Get us out of this levitation thing! Quick!

Oh god...the shark!

*Mike was dropped back into the water and started making his way towards Machias, but it seemed that he was getting nowhere, fast. Diving down, Red grabbed him by the arms, using her powerful wings to pull him from the water as they now both quickly approached the scene*

Thought you might need a lift.

*She fought to open the jaws of the shark, but they were tighter than a steel trap. She clawed at the eyes and punched at the gills. Blood leaked from her leg in feathery wisps, attracting others.*

*She was losing her breath, and thought she was to pass out, when the shark finally let her go, swimming off to deeper waters. The adrenaline pumping through her shocked body, she kicked to the surface, breathing deeply once she reached the surface.*

*Red let Mike drop down into the water beside Machias as she examined the sharks, now circling them in the water*

Mike: Machias! Please don't pass out now. :tsurpris: God...there's so much blood! We've got to get her outta here!

There's no way I'll be able to carry a raptor and a turtle at the same time. We need to get more help. How's she doing? Anything you want me to do?

She got out of bed and rummaged through her things. Finding what she needed, she dressed and took them to Krang.*

*Skeletoncrew walked out to one of the Technodrome's observation platforms. Not that there was a whole lot to see in the cavern, but at least it was something different.*

*After a lot of scrambling and a few false starts, Manjari finally made it through the hole in the roof. She lay there panting for a second, then looked around. There. She twisted her towel around a nearby tree to give her something to hang on to and reached back down for Azure.*

She had been getting ready to go help them, but that would have been a risky move. She was probably going to be under much closer observation from now on. As she turned back into the Technodrome she couldn't help but wish she were climbing out of there with Azure.*

Me? Well, today started out with me wanting to take the day off and go for a swim, but when I got to the beach, I ah, saw you and your brothers and some others were already there.

I was still kinda curious, so I figured that following the one turtle was probably safer than following a group of them, and the...others that were with you. Sorry...

*watches closely, concern in her eyes* All right so far, but we'll still need someone to look at it.

Mike: Well, where's Donny? or Splinter?

*shakes her head* Splinter went back to the Lair and I lost Donny earlier. I think he went looking for that Kameko girl.

*she scrambled to her feet and with a mock bow and a mischievious grin, she gestured fro Azure to lead the way*

Mike: *blinks* Geez, someone was in a hurry to get out of here...

*thinks for a moment, removing his bandanna. He unties it and wraps it around the bloodier part of the bite, tying it snugly. He then stood up, taking her into his arms, looking towards home.*

Mike: Okay, let's get her out of here...

*touches his shoulder lightly* I don't normally do this but since it's an emergency, I'll make an exception. Hold on.

*all 3 disappear and reappear in the lair*

[Machias Banshee]

Mike: Woah.... *blinks* cool....

*Splinter (back in kimono and black pants) walks in after hearing Mike's voice, and looks to the three*

Sp: what happened to Machias?

Mike: Shark bite....

Sp: Go to the infirmary, i will be with you in a moment.

*Mike takes her to the infirmary, and Splinter looks to Enigma*

Sp: Are any of the others hurt as well?

*sighs* I have no idea. I lost track of Leo and Don after you left and found Machias with Mike after she was attacked. I just brought my way b/c it was quicker and now, I'm gonna go see if I can find the others before anything else happens.

*disappears*

*Splinter blinks at her sudden disappearance and then turns towards the infirmary*

*Mike laid her on the cot, carefully removing the bloodied bandanna. The maskless turtle tosses it aside and kneels beside her.*

Mike: Come on Machias, wake up for me....

*Azure nods happily, and begins walking back towards the water's edge*

*Manjari wandered around the beach where she had seen the others earlier. No one else was in sight, and the waves crashed up onto the beach loudly.*

Huh. weird. You wouldn't think that that many people could disappear so completely...

*She stumbled over a stick half buried in the sand, and fell hard to her hands and knees.*

Ouch... that was dumb....

*She tried to brush her hands off, but the sand stuck to them stubbornly. She looked down, and with growing revulsion saw the wet sand on her hands was saturated with blood.*

Ah, Azure? I think there was a problem....

*Azure quickly ran to Manjari's side*

Woah, are you okay??

*He stared in shock at the bloody sand before them*

Oh man... This isn't good...

*Azure looked around, but saw no one in sight*

All right. Don't panic, Azure, the others have got to be around here somewhere... Okay Manjari, let's try searching around this area...

Right. Um, they aren't going to kick the crap out me if I run into them without an introduction are they? Nevermind, stupid question and not relevant.

*She headed north along the beach, calling out occasionally, trying to follow a set of tracks that were slowly being demolished by the incoming tide.*

Hello? Anyone out here? Hello!

*the waves demolished the last of the tracks she was following and she slumped. Turning around she started back down the beach towards Azure, unaware that she'd picked up a shadow for the trip back*

*Meanwhile, one of the groups, (Leo, Don, Raph, Kali, Kameko and Red) were heading back towards the lair. Don suddenly stopped and turned around* Hey, anyone else hear that?

Leo: What?

Don: I thought I heard someone yelling.

Raph: You're hearing things, there's no one out here except us.

You know, I haven't seen Azure in awhile.

*Leo smacks his palm on his forehead* Damn! We forgot about Azure in all the excitement. Raph, you take Kali and Kameko back to the lair, they aren't in a condition to do searching. The rest of us will head back to find Azure.

*appears after Azure and Manjari left and starts looking around* Note to self, next time I go to the beach, bring tracking collars.

*Bored out of her skull in the Technodrome, Skeletoncrew heads to the kitchen to bake chocolate chunk cookies.*

*Rolls eyes and eats a cookie.*

*Leo spotted Azure off in the distance. He was just about to call out when he saw someone else with him*

Don: I wonder who that other person is.

Leo: I don't know, we better go find out. *and they all head over*

**Back at the lair, Splinter was tending to Kameko's burns in the infirmary. He's already bandaged up Machias, and Mike is looking over her. Raph and Kali were relaxing on the couch in the living room, Kali nearly asleep on Raph's plastron*

*Machias rested quietly, Mike caressing her cheek with his thumb.*

Mike; Well, it could have been worse...
*He suddenly sees everyone giving him looks that would kill a horse in a second* Jeez, sorry, sorry....

*chuckles* Well, i guess youre right...*looks at her bandaged thigh* Hmmm...I wonder how SC's doing...

*Walks along beside Azure briskly.*

Huh. I'm kinda surprised I haven't seen you around before if you live this close to that beach. I go swimming there as often as I can. Love the privacy

*Looks up to see two figures making their way towards them*

*Skeletoncrew doesn't see Shredder until dinner time. All he has to talk about over the pasta is how they're going to be raising the Technodrome in just a couple of days if all goes well.*

*Azure turned around to see who Manjari was calling out to. He squinted his eyes at the figures before realizing who they were*

Don-San!! Leo!

*Azure waved to them and jogged briskly to meet up with them, turning around occasionally to make sure Manjari was following*

Don: Where've you been?

Well... After all of the strange things happened at the beach, I noticed Raphael's footprints and decided to follow them. I ended up in a cavern... Wait! Did you guys know that the Technodrome is down there?!

Leo: Yes, we know.

Shouldn't we do something about that?

Leo: It's a long story... I'll fill you in later.

*Leo turned his attention to Manjari*

Leo: And who's this?

[Machias Banshee]

*Mike gives Machias a quick look before going back to her cheek*

Mike: I dunno...it feels weird, knowing that she's shacking up with Shredder...

I dont know what to think either. *pauses, shaking her head* Oh well...can you get me a drink? I'm feeling wicked dry...

Mike: Sure *kisses her muzzle* I'll be right back...

*She watched as Mike left the room, and pushed herself up into a sitting position. Her leg still hurt like hell, but at least it wasnt bleeding anymore.*

Hmmm....I got an idea....*she closes her eyes, and lets herself sink into meditation...*

*reappears, this time in the infirmary* Ugh. Have any of the others gotten back yet? I wasn't able to find them.

*Has been watching Mike and Machias, all the while gritting her teeth and refusing to show any pain. Well, much pain, anyway*

*quietly, to Splinter* They make a cute couple, y'know that? :) Wish my Michelangelo were that lucky. Heck, we're still living in the sewer. *sai* :| What a difference a dimension makes...

Don't worry guys, Manjari's cool. We met up kinda by accident in front of the Technodrome. I would've been stuck in that cavern if it weren't for her help, and ol' Shredhead might've caught me.

*Leonardo's expression lightened up a little, but he was still a bit worried. He wanted to hear Manjari's side of the story before heading back to the lair*

Leonardo: What exactly were you doing in that cavern?

Actually... following one of you.

Y'see, I accidentally saw you guys on the beach. I'd never seen anything quite like you before, so, well, I hid and watched. The one carrying the funky looking pointed daggers stalked off after a bit swearing to himself, and I kinda decided to followed him. His tracks disappeared by a hole into that cavern. I didn't see anywhere else he could have gone, so I climbed down. There was no sign of him, but there was that big technodrome thingy, and it sort of distracted me. I guess Azure was following me while I was following him, and we both got stuck in the cavern and had to help each other out.

*Manjari quailed a little under Leonardo's gaze, still blushing. The look on his face was identical to the one her father used to use when she'd been caught doing something she wasn't supposed to.* get a hold of yourself girl. You never took that from your father, why are you getting all spastic for this guy when he stares at you like that? You're an adult, so act like it!

*She straightened her shoulders a bit and met Leonardo's gaze squarely, just a hint of a challenge in her expression*

*Mike blushes and grins, taking a seat beside Kameko, while Splinter tended her wounds in amused silence*

*Azure gave Leo a pleading look, complete with puppy dog eyes. Leonardo chuckled. It was hard to say "no" whenever Azure had that look on his face.*

Leo: You've been hanging around Mikey way too long... But yes, she can come over.

Yay! The more the merrier! :D

*Donatello laughed*

Don: Okay then, let's head back. I'm sure the others are expecting us.

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew couldn't sleep. She silently climbed out of bed and headed to the bathtub. She had come to the realization that this just wasn't working. As much as she cared about Saki, she couldn't let his ambitions overshadow her happiness. Question was, how could she get herself out of this mess?*

*Manjari joined the other three turtles as they headed back to the lair. While they were walking, she stared at Donatello's carapace, tracing the patterns in his shell with her eyes. Finally, she couldn't contain herself any longer. She tapped him on the shoulder.*

Don: Hmm?

MJ: Would you mind if I took a closer look at your shell?

Don: *chuckles* go ahead

MJ: *After a moments silence.* Interesting...the shell pattern is similar to Chelidae, but there's a slight variation to the plates that's only found in Emydidae...

*Don immediately perked up* Hey! You know about this stuff?

MJ: A bit...Testudines aren't where my major lies, although I think I remember enough. Let me put in a guess...you guys look like a sort of ultra-evolved relative to the species Terrapene Carolina...

Don: Actually I'd have said T.Ornata, but it's still something we're looking for more info on...

MJ: Have you tried karyotyping? That might...

*From there the conversation devolved into complete incomprehensibility, but the two seemed to be enjoying themselves*
