Pyrae: *larger male Naga, thirteen feet in length and almost 10 in height, slithers up beside Eternity* Probably Enigma. You know that if she felt this girl could be trusted, then she would let Cooler play with her.
Eternity: Boss was supposed to be watching him herself, Pyrae, not letting him wander around with a stranger.
Pyrae: *hisses a warning to his mate* Enigma is our Master, Eternity. It's not our place to judge what she does. Remember that.

*Turning, she made her way outside and back to where she had parked her car. Throwing her stuff inside, she slammed the door, and reverted to complete snake form. She slithered down towards the beach, needing that swim she had never gotten to cool her nerves.*

*Shredder leads Machias up a couple of levels and then stops in front of a door.*
Shredder: This is it. Keep back, stay quiet, and don't touch anything.
*They enter the laboratory. Now on her back, Skeletoncrew is strapped on an examining table in the center of the room. She's obviously the worse for wear. Her jeans are stained with grass and mud, and dried blood is splattered on her shirt. More blood is oozing from a cut on her forehead. She's struggling weakly against the straps holding her down.*
*Hearing the door open Krang turns from the console he's working at.* Saki!
*Shredder rushes up to the table* What the hell is the meaning of this!?!
Krang: Well, you seemed so distraught earlier...I thought I'd have Rocksteady and Bebop bring her back so you could talk things over!

*Kali had gone halfway down the hall to her room when she remember that her tea was still sitting in the kitchen. She doubled back to get it, seeing that Splinter was still in the kitchen, with a concerned look on his face* Sensei, is something wrong?
*Splinter frowned* I believe there is.
**Raphael set the bag on the passenger seat as he climbed back into the van. He was adjusting the rear view mirror when something caught his eye. There was a ton of equipment in the back, surely something would help him find his missing bike*

*Miek was heading off to bed, when he noticed that Machias wasnt there. He decided to head ot the kitchen to see if she was there at all...Instead he found Splinter and Kali, the fromer having a look of concern on his face*

*Splinter looked up* Michaelangelo, where is Machias?
**Raph drove out of town, then pulled over to the side of the road. He crawled into the back and started trying to figure out how to work the tracking equipment* Leave it to Donatello to make everything as confusing as possible and not write a manual... *he finally found out what he was looking for, well, not exactly, but it worked. It showed the positions of their family members. Most of them were gathered around in one area* Must be the lair. *but another was some distance away* Ah, ha!
*Raph crawled back behind the steering wheel and drove off*

*Skeletoncrew finally forced her eyelids open but had trouble focusing her eyes. ~I feel terrible. Am I moving? I don't think I'm moving my legs.~ She tried moving a leg experimentally. Shredder noticed the motion in his arms.*
Shredder *In a quiet voice*: Are you awake honey?
*Her eyes finally focused on him.* Saki? Where are you taking me?
Shredder: I'm sending you with your friend. You were right to leave me. I'm so sorry about this.
It wasn't your fault. I heard them talking about how Krang didn't want you knowing.
Shredder: What did they do to you?
Just chased me. I was uh, a bit inebriated and not terribly coordinated in my escape. *Looks around, vision coming back.* Machias? Enigma?

*slips quietly through the waves, enjoying her swim immensely. Finally she's relaxed enough after the almost-fight with Eternity, and exits the water to curl up on the sand. The water had been very cool, and it dropped her body temperature enough that all she really wanted now was to go back to sleep. With a contented sigh she slithered up into the woods, looking for a place to curl up where she could nap until daybreak without beind disturbed*

Probably nothing. Its just that I overheard them talking while they were looking for me, and I don't like the way the conversation sounded.
*Shredder notices that she's avoiding his gaze and is clearly uncomfortable with the topic. He growls.*
Shredder: If either of them laid a hand on you that way, I'll gut them and turn them into a couple of throw rugs!
*Smiles slightly.* I'm sure I'm fine.

Shredder: You really should get out of here, you may need medical attention.

Shredder: Will you be able to walk? *Sets her down gently. She sways and steadies herself on her arm. She also lets out a sharp breath and tears well up in her eyes.*
I think some of my ribs may be broken.
Shredder: Broken? Hold still. *He lifts her shirt midway and palpatates her ribs. She scrunches up her face and tries not to cry.*
That hurts like a motherf--!
Shredder: It feels like you may have some cracked ribs, but not broken. *He coughs* Splinter will be able to take care of you.
I'm sure he will, though I'm really not eager to go back there. Everyone must be severely pissed at me.
Shredder: Its not safe for you here though, and I'd hate for you to be alone right now.
Yeah. I'll be safe there too, even if I'm hated. But...how did Krang find me?
Shredder: *His brow furrowed.* I'll find out. Will it be alright if I e-mail you?
Of course. You know, I didn't really want to go, but--
Shredder: Shhh...I know. *He takes off his face mask and carefully embraces her.* You'd better go now.

Oh....poor SC. I gotta contact the others, and let them know i'm coming...
*She quickly pulls out her Turtlecom, and sets it onto the frequency of Splinter's com only*
Splinter, if you get this message, Im bringing SC up to the caves...Shredder's gonna help me. I cant explain right now, but just get the infirmary ready...she's hurt.
*She closed up the com, and slowly walked back over to the couple*

*stands aside, looking from the group to the module and back again, looking uneasy*
*Raph stormed back to the van after searching the area on foot. Damn computer, his bike obviously wasn't here, and neither was that little blip, whoever that was. He sat behind the wheel, debating whether he should wait and see if the blip moved soon, or just head back home to give Kali her present and wait to see if they brought his bike back.
He growled and pulled the package out of the bag. It would take him a few minutes to wrap it, and if nothing happened on the tracker, he would head back home.*

*Shredder helps SC into the module and makes sure she's safely seated. As he's doing this, he slips something into her pocket. SC doesn't notice. He then goes up to the front of the module and programs something in. Turning around and doing his best to look imposing, he addresses the ladies.*
Shredder: I've programed this to come up in a clearing just a little ways away, you seem to be familiar enough with the area that you should be able to find your way. Once it surfaces the door will remain open 5 minutes, it will then close and return to the Technodrom. The tunnel will collapse after it. Be sure you're not still in the module when it closes.
*He treats Enigma and Machias to a threatening glare. His expression softens and he slumps a little as he looks at SC. On his way out of the module he takes her hand and squeezes it, but says nothing more. Moments later the module starts up.*

*Manjari felt her insides turn to ice.* Thats...great...sir.
Green: Something wrong?
No...no, just still a little sleepy. I'll be at work in half an hour.
Green: Great! See you then.
*hangs up the phone and bangs her head into the wall softly.* I should have gotten their number...why didn't I get their number?

He pushed her long red hair over her shoulder and noticed a mark on her upper back, between the shoulder blades. It looked like a small puncture wound. He cleaned it and placed a bandaid over it. Skeletoncrew giggled as he worked on it*

*Splinter covers SC back up with the sheet and sits down on the bed next to her. He said nothing but gently took her hand and looked at her. Not needing to be questioned, she replied in a soft voice.*
While they were chasing me, I overheard them talking about me. It sounded like they were going to have a little "fun" with me when they caught me. *Hastily* But I'm quite sure nothing happened, all my clothes were in place and I don't feel--well, I'm fine anyway.
*Splinter gave her a gentle hug.* Good.

Green: There have been several reported sightings in the area concerning a new species of turtle, one that seems to have stepped outside the evolutionary guidelines. The reports state that these creatures are bipedal, and even take to "dressing" themselves in rags and such primitive humans. The mimcry here is amazing if they've learned to ape that much from watching humans, what else do you think they may have learned?
*Manjari kept a firm grip on her temper as Dr Green explained things to her. It was obvious that he had no thoughts considering the intelligence of the turtles, beyond some vague sense that they were incredibly canny and clever animals. She had to keep her facial features under control, or give away secrets she desperately wanted to keep*
Green: Thats where you come in. I realize that turtles aren't your main field of study, but you've had more experience with dangerous reptiles than anyone else in the department, *gesture at the tanks full of snakes* and I would like you to assist in the aquisition of a specimen and be in charge of the restraint system so that it can be examined in safety.
*Manjari sighed internally. This day just kept getting better and better. Cheerful/eager voice*
MJ: Absolutely! The specimen tank in lab four should be adequate for now, and I'll work on improvements once I have more details.
*leans against Raph* This is so tiring...

*Splinter finished cleaning and bandaging the scrapes on SC's shins. She remained quiet as he worked, feeling guilty over all the trouble she was putting him and everyone else through. When he was finished he sat down beside her again.*
Splinter: May I ask why you decided to leave Oroku Saki?
Well, things changed after you guys showed up at the Technodrome. Saki was apparently willing to accept my word, but Krang wasn't. He was ready to excute me, lock me up, or maybe put a tracking device on me. Saki talked him into a compromise. Sort of a "show of loyalty." I agreed, reluctantly. But after a couple of days I realized that I just couldn't live that way. I'd been asked to do something I've never wanted to do, and I couldn't go through with it. I wasn't happy, so I left.
Splinter: What was it you agreed to do?
Well, Saki had mentioned wanting to have kids some day on more than one occassion...Krang thought that would be a good way to keep me there.
Splinter: Oh.
I went ahead and surrendered all of my birth control pills to Krang a couple days ago. But I couldn't go through with it. I don't want a child right now, and I certainly wouldn't want one in that environment! *Starts looking panicky.*
Splinter: Of course not. Its okay now. You look very tired. I'm going to make a little tea that will help you relax and sleep. I also want you to stay here with us for a while. At least until we know how Krang found you, and know how to prevent that from happening again.
Okay. Thank you. *Squeezes Splinter's hand.*

Take a seat...*brings Kameko over to the table, and goes to pull a chilled glass from the freezer, filling it with water. She then pulls a bottle o aspirin from her pocket, giving Kameko two*...this should help.
*Splinter smiled* Of course, Kali. I just have to take this tea to Skeletoncrew. Kameko, you might want to try some more of that lotion for your sunburn. *leaves the kitchen, Kali following meekly after him*

It's not like it's a spur of the moment thing. We talked about it all summer. We even went to Donnie to have him run tests to see if we could. *she paused for a few seconds* There were a couple snags, but he found a way to counter that. That's why I came to you, I'm getting second thoughts. Raph's okay with it, but all he says is that he'll stand be my desision. *sniff* I'm just really scared. What if I'm making a big mistake?

*Manjari was seated at her desk, umpteenth cup of coffee at her elbow. She flipped through the reports that stacked her desk, the ones that outlined the hunt itinerary for the next week. It was bad. The area to cover was large, but the turtles home was well within the search area, as well as the beaches she had found them at the day before. It was almost as if someone who had a good idea of their own on how to locate them had supplied the details to her boss. Not good at all*
*She checked her watch and swore softly to herself. Before too much longer she would be crammed in a van with Dallas and Kevin, three trank guns and a variety of restraints, forced to go hunting her newfound friends. Life really sucked*

*Raphael stayed in his room for a long time, running Splinter's words over in his head. He knew what would happen if they did have a baby, and how hard could it be? Splinter took care of all four of them without any help*

Shredder: You're lying. Why did YOU want her back?
Krang: Wellll...now that you mention it, I had started including her special abilities in my plot for world domination.
*Don was silent a few seconds before he easily picked the lock and entered the bathroom* Kali? *he saw her in the far corner, looking like death warmed over* Kali, you're scaring me.
*laughs* I'm scaring you. *takes a shuddering breath* I feel like I'm falling apart.

Krang: See for yourself. *Pulls the results up on the screen. Shredder looks everything over in shock.* Now then, do you really want to just let her go? That child is half yours after all...

*The van coasted to a stop, and the three stepped out quietly. Manjari shouldered her trank gun and lugged out a fairly heavy case with some sampling equipment. Together they headed down the cliff face towards the beach.*
Kevin: Holy $h!t....wouldja look at that... *he gestured down at the blue person wandering along the ribbon of sand*
MJ: *crap! Thats Azure! Why did he have to go for a walk THIS morning* I got a clean shot....
*She shouldered her rifle and aimed carefully through the sights, lining up the shot. Then she moved the gun a fraction of an inch to her left before pulling the trigger and sending the dart on its way*
