Favorite Incarnation of the Turtles
 

Mine is either 4-Kids or Nick. Sorry if this was already made. Give me some credit, I checked the first page and searched.

My favorite is the 80's cartoon turtles, 2nd favorite 4kids turtles.

Mine is the 80s OT followed by the Nick series, then the 4Kids series

Easy one for me 80's toon and first Live action movie :tsmile:

My favorite would have to be the Nickelodeon series.

80s toon as well as Movie I.

A lot of 4-Kids/Mirage/Nick/Movie/IDW really.

I suppose I should have said that is the order I like them in... but its not a firm list... it sort of changes with my mood.

Probably the 4kids/2k3 series.

I love OT but as a serious-adultish storyline 2k3 inches it out. Ive never read the comics. Well 1 awhile back. It was good but speaking in terms of TV.

Ive really enjoyed Nick's but were not even through season 1.

Mirage for me, there's just something special about those original Eastman/Laird tales.

After Mirage I'd say 4Kids but Nick is gaining very rapidly.

2K3 will always be my favourite but the mirage comics are a close second.

Its always good to see new TMNT in my opinion... My favorite will always be the 80's show because I grew up with it... The 2k3 Series means a lot to me too, because I followed the show since before it started until it's end. It has it's good and bad moments as does the new Nick version. I love them all, and I can't wait to see how the new show plays out; I'm loving every minute of it so far. I just hope it doesn't disappoint me as bad as the 2k3 show did in a lot of ways. Don't get me wrong, in a lot of ways I feel that 2k3 is the best, but it failed to live up to it's full potential, thus it fell short in the last 3 seasons.

Its got to be Mirage Comic turtles for me then IDW then 4Kids

I really can't decide. It depends on what I'm in the mood for.

I'm loving the Nick Turtles. All their personalities are great on this show. I do love the Movie 1 and 2 turtles, but it seems Nickelodeon is winning here.:tcool:

Very well said. it's hard to look at the 2K3 series as a whole when determining it's overall quality. I'd make the argument that it's fair to consider the earlier seasons more so than the last 3 when determining it's grade.

Also, I think it's amazing how fan's favorite incarnations are so varied. I think that's really great as it shows how the various incarnations have been a benefit to the franchise as a whole because there's something for everyone!

Oh, and for me, it's between the 2K3 series and the original movie.

The 2003 cartoon is my favorite incarnation. The 2k3-verse is representative to me to the point that I hear the 2k3 voices when I read the comics and picture the 2k3 designs when I read fanfiction.

I liked the 2K3 turtles, but I love the Nick turtles. :D

I made this poll a few weeks back voting for favorite look of the turtles which I guess could mean the same as incarnation. Vote if you haven't :-)

I love 2k3 the best. OT will always hold a special place in my heart, but I like the more serious tone of the 2k3 series.

The original Mirage is my favorite. They never looked better.

Eastman/Laird mirage stuff, the books they worked together on. The art is just right. The space arc lasted way way too long but besides that their work together is just so well done and creative.

However as a huge Splinter fan (and I've stated before Mirage splinter doesn't do a lot for me sadly) I'm really enjoying the nick cartoon.
