Yes, its obvious Don is skinnier and taller, while Mike is the shortest and bit younger looking. Leo is "standard" while Raph has a tougher look.

I never noticed how "fit" Raph was :) I knew he had more muscle but he's also the least chubby :3 if that makes sense XD

Hmm. I know Donnie is the lankiest, but his muscles seem a bit understated here compared to the cartoon.

And damn, Raph is ripped. Someone on Tumblr once said she had a crush on Donnie when she was five years old, but now she has a crush on Raph's arms.

now i stare at his arms instead of watching the action, although i wouldn't call it a crush...

Hey... have you seen the new storage shell turtles (basic figure sized) coming next year? they are much much better likeness to the show. They are all-new sculpts, not just shrunk-down versions of the 11" battle shells we already have.

They intentionally designed the first wave of turtles in their own unique style as a form of homage to the first 80s turtle figures which also only vaguely resembled the cartoon.

So I don't think it's something they failed at, just something they intentionally set out to do.

If you think that's weird, avoid Tumblr at all costs. ;)

I liked the fact that Raph was more muscular as well in the 2007 movie.

It's normal, after all, he trains more than the others (on his punching bag, etc)

And I also believe that they made Donnie very tall so he could be as tall as April. Maybe better for the "romance".
