Official Movie Interviews
THought this might be a good thread to keep the Trailers/PIc other marketing separate,
Megan fox Interview http://www.mtv.com/videos/movies/105...a-turtle.jhtml |
Cool, I Think this would be a good thread for all Interviews with the stars from the movie, So we can expect close to release date, Stars like Megan Fox to appear on the Tonight Show or any Talk Show promoting the movie.

Edit: Well for the ten thousand kids that said they are writing off the movie strictly bc April won't be a "Red head" can rest easy now and give the movie a chance I also take Wills little comments as " yes.. there will be Krang" seriously that guy could just stand there silent and still be funny  Gonna add a great element to the movie. Hell....Yea :D Lots of emo cons this time lol |
It's funny but the ninja turtle faces are probably more capable of expression than Megan's.
Arnett seems like the perfect Vernon. |
I've come to really like Megan after stuff like this. She seems genuine and looks like she has put a lot of effort into April.

i can only imagine how awkward it would be to broadcast a interview with Pete Ploszek, and he talks about his process of bringing Leo to life, not knowing a few months from the time of the interview he would be replaced. |

I think Will Arnett pretty much just confirmed an appearance by Krang!

They could have easily went the Nolan Batman route with this movie, but they didn't. It seems to be embracing what most people love about the franchise. |

nice...it IS good to have a glimpse at the leads and hear some of what they have to say. i'll watch will arnett in anything but i'm still a little leary about fox.
i could give a crap about her personally and yeah, i think she's pretty, but i truly am a little concerned about what her performance might yield. i really dont think she's ever impressed me in the slightest as an actor. i know a lot of people think she was really good in this is 40 and sometimes point that out as a career performance high, but i dont see it. she kinda came off as wooden and forced, but whatev. hopefully, shes decent enough in this! :D Quote:
lol. emphasis on the POSSIBLY! if they do bring in krang (and i do think that would be dope), i have a feeling it'll be more easter egg-ish, or hint-like that would maybe set him/them up as a future plot point in whatever possible sequels may or may not arise. oops! sorry bout the double-post...fixed it! |

Edit for Sewer. I always thought that Tower falling was the Foot/Shredder cutting channel six's ability to broadcast news to the city. Like maybe taking them off the air and enforcing some kind of control over the city. Like Martial law in a way |

i think its funny that when asked about how much time would be spent in the sewers...WILL ARNETT responded by saying, [there is time in the sewers, time in the lair] if they lair is in the sewers, arent they one and the same locale, essentially?
i am attempting to scour the internet for more interviews, but everything recent featuring Will Arnett, and co. have been for other projects, ie. the Lego movie. i could not be more stoked for this film, and i am foaming at the mouth for more stuff. namely footage, but i love me a good interview too. |

Maybe there are different compartments/tunnels of the sewers shown in the movie. Yea it was a great interview I agree. It made me want to watch some Will Arnett stuff. I think this month and next month well get more interviews. Cant wait either :D |

Here is Noel Fisher talking about the film back in March of this year. The discussion about the film begins at two different points 0:52 and 1:26. The talk ends at 2:02.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGrV65iOs0k TMZ talked to Johnny Knoxville back in April about the former Megan Fox & Michael Bay feud. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iv2kQEQbwog I'm sure most of you say this, but here is Alan Ritchson being interviewed about the film back in April 2013 for those who did not see it. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hea...-mutant-439723 And finally here are William Fichtner's interviews about the film back in 2013. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUj5yexktuk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6ZAcyvHW_k |

I personally would recommend looking at William's interviews again, knowing what we know now. You can sort of piece it together a bit. |

Because no one is actually being interviewed about TMNT yet.
Fichtner, Fox and Arnett just get these stray questions thrown at them while they're doing press for other projects. The same thing happens to the Fisher and Ritchson, you just don't see it because their projects are smaller, and their interviews don't get attention. |

Here is an interview Ritchson did back in November 2013 around the time The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was released.

Well, to Fox's credit, she came across as much more personable in that interview than in any role I've seen her in. And I must admit that as April never had red hair in the original comics, getting worked up over Fox's hair not really looking red was always a bit of a bridge too far for me.
That said, I can only cut her minimal slack for being a fan - I mean, it's nice when actors are fans of franchises that they get to work on, but in this particular instance, it just doesn't cut it. I'm a fan - but that doesn't mean that I'd be in any way appropriate for casting... and I think it's safe to say that I've got just as much acting talent as Fox (which is to say, I did drama in high school and I stank at it). I can't act... but I can wrinkle my forehead, so I think I'm ahead of the game. Her acting ability (or lack thereof) and her apparent fondness for Botox aside, the number one thing that rubbed me the wrong way from the get-go about her being cast was that she was cast because of who she was, and the money she would make for the movie - not for what she would bring to the role. I know that it's a movie's job to make money, I know that. But casting Fox was just such a blatantly cynical attempt to replicate the asses-in-seats numbers that Transformers had. And that right there is the issue. If I want to see a generic blockbuster with action and babes, there are dozens of them out every year. I like explosions and hot bodies on screen just as much as anybody. But for a live-action Turtles movie, I have much higher expectations. I don't want an action movie with Turtles - I want a Turtles movie with action. There's a distinction between the two. I can only speculate as to whether other people's dissatisfaction with her casting is for those reasons - but by god, if she could take some of the charm that she had in that interview and inject it into her role in this movie, I'd be a lot further down the road to being won over. |

And I agree with everything else you said. |
