Kill off Fishface, Rahzar and Tiger Claw
With the introduction of Bebop, Rocksteady and Hun (not to mention what could be done with that mind control serum) I'd say there are too many henchmen for Shredder, things just sort of get clogged up. So I propose to kill off (or at least get rid of) Fishface, Tiger Claw and Rahzar. They have done very little so far, they're not very interesting right now and I don't see much future potential for them, just kill them.
|
Rahzar is awesome, he has to stay.
Just get Fishface and Tiger Claw to leave Shredder or something. |
I agree that Shredder's got too many henchmen atm, but I rather get the feeling that B&R are going to be more rogue agents... they'll come to his side as long as something's in it for them. If not, well, there's bound to be more dissention in the ranks, and something's going to have to give eventually... Too many DJs, not enough mic's.

Given that we've seen Fishface with the most sympathetic backstory among Shredder's mutants and having some sort of honor (when Raph saved his life, he returned the favor- something he had no other incentive in doing. And possibly some risk too- Can't imagine Shredder would have been happy with that.), I think he's the most likely to go good.

The more the merrier. You jelly?
|
Holy sh*t I just realized.
What if Tiger Claw is Oroku Nagi? Semi-relevant. |
Im STRONGLY opposed to your suggestion to kill of or get ridd of these three characters.I really enjoy their presence.love it when they are all on the move together!casey jones vs the underworld for example was fantastic!!also, what is your point?you don't want a rich cast of characters for the show, or what?this seems like a very poor proposition and based on your subjective viepoint, my friend...
here we have the chance to flesh out so many different angles it is great!I applaud them for creating that net of characters for this incarnation... I cant wait to see fishface one day rebell against his treatment..maybe he#ll team up with or confront south american gangs in new york in some future episode to gather around some supprt for himself...he seems the one to be screwed the most by shredder (apart from basxter stockman perhaps). LOVE tiger claw!!!!!! |
I disagree on killing off TigerClaw, Who is a cool character.

I sort of agree with the OP, but I think what really needs to be done is to give them individual roles on the team to make them interesting characters. Right now, only Baxter has a specific purpose while everyone else serve one purpose and they don't have much of a dynamic because they all just simple hate each other on the same level.
It was interesting when Bradford and Xever were human because they didn't just simply hate each other. They were rivals and was something that made them interesting for a while. They should put more thought into the character instead of just putting the work of a cool design, which is what I think they should really stop treating the mutation as and instead treat it as a chance of character development to explore. |
Nah, keep the original characters. Besides, shredder pretty much wants a mutant army, so he's just going to replace any dead mutants.
|
I think Shredder wants to have that many henchmen because, as he explained in Casey Jones vs The Underworld, they all represent different sects of the underworld that he controls. I like all the villains and especially Tigerclaw and definitely wouldn't want to see him get whacked. I think they are all cool. I think losing Metalhead was as close to a "death" as well will get.

I love Bebop and Rocksteady, and I see a lot of potential for them. However, Rocksteady should use a gun, like in the episode "Serpent Hunt." We could make him more of a threat, compared to his partner.:tcool:
Tiger Claw should stay, because he's actually pretty cool to develop. He may not have to work with Shredder anymore, but at least keep him for future ideas. I especially think he'd make a great Usagi villain. At this point, Fishface had his welcome. I don't think he'll be killed off, but I do like the idea of Shredder turning him into sushi and eating his remains. Sick, but it sounds hilarious.:tlol: If not, maybe he needs to become good. If Karai is now on the turtles' side, then maybe Xever can be with them, too. Still, he was more interesting as a villain. Maybe he can be a rogue. And yes: Rahzar is good. We just need more of him. Maybe he should travel with Tiger Claw since their first bonding back in season 2. |

No keep Razhar Tigerclaw and FishFace its better to have a huge mutant army

Of course this does fall apart on several points, such why wasn't Tiger Claw part of the Foot to begin with and why don't they use their reals names to each other in private. |

But god, Splinter and Shredder's background story has been pretty inconsistent, so it's possible. |
This makes no sense Shredder wants a mutant army so why would he kill his mutants.

Looks like something big is going to happen to Fishface
Christian Lanz @ChristianLanz 37m Putting the finishing touches on my favorite #TMNT episode to date! Stay tuned #Finatics.. You'll dig this one. #Xever #Fishface Probably won't happen until season 4 though. |
I don't see the Shredder's backstory as inconsistent, it's more of a puzzle that doesn't have all the pieces.
Oroku Saki was found as an infant by Hamato Yoshi's father when the Foot Clan was attacked by the Hamato Clan. Question-(Why was the Foot Clan Attacked aside from the fact they were a rival clan.) Hamato Papa takes pity on Oroku Saki and raises him as his own. Speculation-(So we can sort of believe that Oroku Saki was raised and cared for by Hamato Papa and Splinter does say he thought of Oroku Saki as a brother. Maybe they have a John Snow Vs. House Stark kind of situation.) Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki were trained together and had sibling like rivalry's about things. We also know that at some point they were apart of the Japanese Self Defense Force At some point they met Tang Shen and both men fell in love with her. Tang Shen however chose Hamato Yoshi as her husband. Oroku Saki and allows himself to be consumed with jealousy. (This is where things get dicey. In the images where we see Saki and Yoshi as children we see Saki struggling at something while Yoshi fairs much better. Such as the point where they are breaking boards, you see Yoshi succeed in breaking all the boards but Saki is clutching his hand in pain.) Spoilered due to image size Spoiler:
(So right away we are getting a Yoshi is Saki's better vibe. So perhaps Saki sees himself perpetually living in Yoshi's shadow and Tang Shen was just one more thing for Yoshi to lord over him. ) At some unknown point he discovered he was from the Foot Clan and that the family that had raised and cared for him killed his parents. Which in his mind is the biggest betrayal of them all. He leaves and reforms the Foot Clan and comes back for revenge and what he believes is his by right. As for Fishface, Rahzar, and Tiger Claw. Rahzar would stay because obviously he's loyal to the Shredder. He's the Shredder's attack dog. Fishface it's possible he could leave the Foot Clan, but it's also possible he could second mutate into Armagon. Tiger Claw...I can see him leaving eventually. I mean we don't entirely know why he decided to join up with the Shredder. We know he doesn't really like the Kraang because of what the Kraang did to him. And the fact that Shredder had allied himself with the Kraang was most likely a point of contention. We know he wants revenge on the Turtles/Splinter/Casey/and April due to his defeat in Worm Quake. But Donnie is the one he should have the least contention with because Tiger Claw didn't really encounter Donnie in his debut episode. So lets say Donnie is captured so the Shredder can get the Retromutagen from him. I can see Donnie trying to understand his enemy to try and get Tiger Claw to see what side he's on. |
Dunno if Fishface would have a huge amount pulling fro him to stay, though I'm sure Rahzar would have a fair amount... and probably just made some enemies over that suggestion of Tiger Claw. :tlol:
I'd rather see them just defect and join up with some other bad guy group that's around but we see less of. Although I'm not sure I could see Tiger Claw leaving Shredder, not unless he (continues to?) lose rank with Shredder. |

Nah. how about Having Bebop and Rocksteady defect from Shredder. They seem the most likely to. The only serve him because he forced them to, you know any chance they get the back stab him and jet.
I like Tigerclaw he works the best as Shredder's right hand man and is one of the better new characters in the series. I like Bradford too, though I like him better as Dogpound than "Rahzar" I think it would be cool if they demutated Fishface. He was way more threatening as Xever and he's been pushed to the back for the most part since he's been mutated. |
You can never have too many henchmen.
|
I definitely don't want to see Fishface, Rahzar or Tigerclaw killed off. I think they're all cool, and Xever is a really interesting character with a lot of depth - he's just sadly under-utilized.
|
I don't have anything against these three and I don't see them being "killed off" but I think it might be a good idea if they went on an accidental trip to Dimension X or something for a while.
I think having so many semi-competent henchmutants just diminishes Shredder a little. He's never been conclusively beaten in battle, yet he keeps relying on people who rarely come through for him. And at the moment there's so many of them that they barely get chance to do anything. A temporary banishment would put across the idea that he'll only tolerate failure so often. |
Not Tiger Claw!
I like him! |
Did they ever address who was the one that cut off Tiger Claw's tail?

I like Xever/Fish Face. I for sure don't wanna see him go. I also don't wanna see Tiger Claw or Rhazzar die off either.

Cant see any of them actually being killed - and I dont think I would want to either at this stage. All three of them have got plenty of potential to grow and develop still (as does Baxter for that matter).
If anything I'd like to see a villain centred ep, where the Turtles appear very little and its largely from Tigerclaw/Rahzar/Fishface's perspective, giving us an insight into how they perceive the events leading to this point. A shake up in Shredder's team would be much more preferable to killing one or more of them off - The ideas put around of Tigerclaw or Fishface turning traitor to the Foot due to misgivings or Rahzar 'biting the hand that feeds him' would be much more interesting than losing one to a needless fight. |
Did Cobra have too many henchmen?
|
i like Tiger Claw. Fishface and Rahzar...not so much.
|
Tiger Claw is Shredder's power player, it would be stupid to get rid of him. This isn't the 80's anymore where the bad guy only has 2 or 3 henchmen. If Shredder is supposed to lead a gang that runs the city.... then you know... he needs a gang to run the city, not just one or two guys. Keep em all and maybe add more. Shredder plays for keeps.
