Preview here.

I apologize in advance for the misleading thread title, in that there's no preview available so far. Everywhere I look, this is scheduled for next Wednesday, the 17th, yet the lack of a preview on Friday as is customary has me worried. I hope I'm not jumping the gun too much here... Just wanted to get the ball rolling.

Anyway, I will update this post if/when a preview is indeed made available.

I feel your worry man, I've been looking for some kind of Turtles preview all day and turned up nothing. I also thought it was #47 coming out next week until the release date thread was updated this afternoon.

Fingers crossed we get some kind of comic next Wednesday

I bet they both get pushed back until the end of the month.

Seriously, I thought this was a little early in the month to receive a true preview.

So it's the absence of a preview that's odd. I hope it hasn't been delayed or something.

let's hope the first few pages were so monumental and spoilery they couldn't do a preview. :twink:

whenever we don't hear anything from the IDW team I imagine they're either all super hard at work making sure the comic will come out on time or out at the beach on vacation, chillin

Noooo....:( This got my hopes up so much.
I cannot even appropriately express how excited I am for this. If the previous work of the creators on this team is any indication of the quality we're getting, this is going to be excellent.

Mile High Comics has this listed in this Wednesday's releases for IDW.

I've been keeping an eye out for the preview in all usual venues, but still no luck.

I have read a review copy of issue one and its shaping up to be a really good mini. Don't know if a certain character has been revealed in the previews so don't want to spoil it but I was a very happy man with the reveal!

I wish ongoing 47 was coming out before this. It starts off with them already on the road. I'm sure not much is being missed, but April was on her way to bringing the scroll to Splinter when we last saw her. I wanna know what he had to say about it.

I'd love it if; Monkey- Path Da Noor, Snake- Scale Tail, Dragon- Dragon Lord, and Tiger- Katmandu!

I still don't see how. There is no fox in the Chinese Zodiac and I don't think they'd just say Kitsune represents the dog.

I was gonna post those exact same suggestions (except Tiger Claw instead of Katmandu... not familiar with that character) but then realized that honestly, none of the Pantheon are going to be very closely tied to any preexisting mutant characters. After all, these are powerful immortals. We got Chi-You (new character) instead of Groundchuck.

So while Dragon Lord and Path Da Noor MAY be used, I'm honestly expecting everyone in the Pantheon to be new.

I'm also expecting not to find out for quite awhile.

Also, if dog can change to fox, what about rooster to crow? We see crows on the cover...

Oh gosh! We're getting Nevermore as a member of the Pantheon! :lol:

Also, Katmandu is basically Tiger Claw with four arms, an old archie character. I think the whole pantheon thing fits him better, due to the four arms/Hindu divinity look he has going.

Yeah, Rat King. We know he's in it from solicitations for Issues #2 and #3 of this mini-series.

Nah, pretty sure he's referring to RK. And reviewing the zodiac again, I'm less convinced that there will be a crow Pantheon member. I think we're just going to see a lot of Rat King. Could be wrong though...

I'm taking a look at the preview for the first time, and something popped out at me: isn't that a crane or a phoenix portrayed on the scroll when April points out the Joshua tree to Casey? Another Pantheon member, maybe?

Foxes are canines, though.

I've seen the review copy too, and I think we're going to differ in opinion on this one.

On another note...solicitations. I don't get! I do my best to stay spoiler-free on films, and that carries over into my comic reading habits too. Looking ahead and spoiling things for yourself just seems alien to me.

Definitely a phoenix... perhaps representing the bird of the Pantheon? Dunno.
