TMNT: Volume 7
 

Does any one have any info on the release date for vol. 7? And do you think vol. 7 will have the european side-season or next episodes of season 4?

Haven't seen any release date for it. Nor info of which episodes (other then that 'possibility' listing on Wiki').

It'd be nice if they went in "continuity order" rather than "airdate order", and moved the Euro Trip episodes from season 7 to season 4.

However, something like that requires effort, and FHE hasn't really put a lot into the releases so far (cover art that traces over 2k3 art, lyrics from the 2k3 theme song on the packaging, no extras, "unaired" bonus episodes presented out of order, etc).

I'd like them in continuity order too.

we'll probably hear about it some time soon and released sometime around april. It'll probably posted here first whoever finds it, its always been the case, even before sites like tvshowsondvd.

I'd like to see the European episodes in the next volume. I haven't seen those episodes before.

That was such a tease. I saw "BEGINNING OF THE END" on TV back in 1996. I know because it's the last ep I ever saw. The Baton Rouge CBS had dropped the series after the previous season, but I got the New Orleans CBS as well. I always wondered why they ever did such a stupid thing, but it was fine with me since I live a good bit closer to BR. I went on a school trip to Europe for 10 days, and there was no N.O. CBS when I came home... :cry: Talk about your horror stories... I'm in negotiations to get that made into a movie right now.

I hope we get the Europe episodes as well. Does the Technodrome change locations by the Eurpoean episodes and the next episode of Season 4? That would be a continuity mess if it does for the DVD releases.

I looked pretty thoroughly for that in the eps before to see if they explain how the 'drome got off Cybertron Jr. I think the first ep of the bunch shows them somewhere dark and cavernous, but the picture looks like it has been cropped to avoid showing the the surroundings. But, by the time they get half-way through the bunch, the technodrome magically appears on the tropical island with the volcano that we see in the beginning of the CBS run.

Hm, the European Vacation episodes are 13 eps long so they could all fit on a single release easily. If not them then I guess we'll just get the next 12 episodes of Season 4.

I don't know about anyone else, but I've enjoyed the original show a hell of a lot more by seeing it in order. While continuity isn't heavy in this show, it's still apparent that events and characters from old episodes are remembered.

Heh, it's always amusing to see Shredder and Krang whining to each other about the state of the Technodrome. :p

I have seen the European episodes...I hate to spoil some info about those episodes. But the Technodrome does not go to Europe too.

I'm also enjoying the original show a lot, i thought it'd be a lot more tedious too watch through episodes but they are all fun. Its not nostalgia because while i loved TMNT as a kid i rarely got to watch the show, so most of my nostalgia is on the adventures i had with the toys themselves.

There is definatelt a lot of 'small' continuity, sometimes they make random mentions of stuff from other episodes that has nothing to do with the current one. And the location of the technodrome location provides something that holds it together a little more. who knows maybe with the movie we see faster releases (like mentioned on my 2007 year of the turle thread), though the one release every 4 months is not too bad, much better than the one year wait for the second volume.

Anyone e-mail Lionsgate yet? I remember someone did for the previous volume and that's how we found out the episode list.

It would also be interesting if someone can influence them to include the 13-episode European vacation set on the next DVD release. I know it's more likely for them just to go on with Season 4, but maybe someone can argue for continuity's sake it would be best to see those 13 european eps next instead.

I would think by now it'd be too late, lately they announce the new volume a few weeks after the other comes out, specially since it should come out around april,

I'd definately email them though, it can't hurt.

I'm still mad about that. They weren't unaired at all. I saw every episode on CBS.

Wouldn't that be a lie though? Are there continuity issues other than the fact that these eps were invisioned years before they were aired? I don't recall that the series' overall continuity didn't suffer from it. That would have annoyed me too much to allow me to forget.

...Oh, so it did'nt piss you off The Technodrome was stuck in Dimension X instead of the artic ocean for half of season seven?

Or the fact of them winning the vacaton 'way back when' (to finally have it happen so far down the line like that).

That's part of the quoting for that ("Unaired"). As they did air for some, but apparently not all of the US.

I did some research, and I see that the technodrome was back on Earth even in season six. So, "my evil", people. I goofed. My memory isn't as organized as it used to be. :blanksta:
A funny thing about the "unseen episodes" on Volume 1 is that I think it was my fault. When communicating with Kasja whats-her-name at Artisan about the then upcoming DVD, I mentioned my wild theory about missing episodes. So, fortunately, I think I played an important role in getting Volume 1 to NOT be "THE EPIC BEGINS" (by starting the rumor mill, thus getting David Wise to take charge). But, a miscomunication caused them to put the final season eps on there just because they were unaired in a few areas.
