(Only Slightly TMNT Related) Mindnumbingly Moronic Movies©
I've finally decided to try a online video series, and here's the promo. I'm not sure how long it'll be before I actually have the first video, since I might need to upgrade (read: Replace) my system before I do so.
|
Wow....well that sucks....ok here's the actual video:
Enjoy...I hope. |
I want to see that movie now.
That was pretty good, man. I'd like to see another bad movie review. Er... Another review of a bad movie, I mean... |
Yea, I have friends!!
FYI: The whole of Terror of Tiny Town can be viewed on Youtube. |

I watched your video last night and was equally intrigued by this movie I've never heard of. I may need to make myself suffer and watch it. I think you did a really good job, but you should come out of hiding from the dark!
|
I need a better camera is all...I wonder how well my Kodak will work.
|
Hey... why is that movie familiar?
Well done, Jester..! This was a good first 'episode' for MMM. :D Just outta curiosity, are you using Microsoft Movie maker, or are you using something like Pinnacle Studios to make the review? |
Just the basic Movie Maker. I was thinking of upgrading my system and even the program eventually.
|
Does this video go out of A/V sync at about 4:00 for anyone else?
You're very well spoken so I've enjoyed it so far. |
Yeah the bane of being an amature video editor using a basic program.
I took the audio track (saved as a separate MP3 file) of me from the video and then spliced in the clips from the movie, with my voice running as a second, underlying track. In other words, when the video of me was on screen, the actual sound was muted, and the other audio only clip provided the audio. I'd then cut back to me and have to try, manually matching the video to the audio, which ain't easy. If anyone knows a better way, I'd love to hear it, cause I'm new to all of this. (I guess I could only use the underlying secondary audio track for the actual movie clips, and just keep established audio of me for when I'm on screen.. Gah, that'd work much easier!! D'OH!) Also extra points to anyone who finds the big mistake I made in the movie. |
Here's episode 2. The film: Abraxas: Guardian of the Universe

Crap, I forgot to reply to your PM.
But I watched your review and also enjoyed this one. I kinda like these because they give me the experience of watching the movie without having to waste away 2 hours of my life. :) |
Uh...thanks...:P
Yeah, you can blame MST3K and Wes from Scary-Crayon for the idea, sort of. MST3K for the makeing fun of bad movies, and Wes for showing me that the $1 DVD bin at Wal*Mart and Dollar Tree are your friend. |

I'm enjoying the reviews so far, Jester.
You should do one of Plan 9 from Outer Space. |
Good stuff Jester... ;) If there's any movies I'd recommend, it'd be "Walkabout".. set in australia, involves children in a desert and a gun-happy dad... that was a total snorefest in Screenwriting class.
