IDW TMNT #1 1:50 Sketch Variant
So after checking with the people I needed to check with, I got the ok to show these (since they actually haven't been shipped yet). New to my collection, these are 1:50 sketch variants, signed and sketched by Kevin. If you look carefully, these particular 4 line up. Not realizing this at the time of the photo, I put them in the wrong order. As they are now, the correct order should be 3,4,1,2. These books are currently at the CGC being graded, but I will take more photos when they return.

That Raphael is awesome, it looks just like his old style.

Wait...yes I can. I got nothing. |
Dude those are awesome and I am guessing you will place them in a frame and hang them on your wall? Which will add to the awesomeness of it all.
How is the CGC going to grade these, is it going to be possible to get them SS with a signature already on them? |
Looks amazing. Can't wait to see more pictures.

However; these particular 4 did not come from the stock of 400, but rather from Kevin's personal allotment, and signed by Kevin in front of a CGC witness at LBCC. So these may end up being the only 4 to ever get a Signature Series designation. |
And where do I get one of these?

maybe this is the wrong place to ask this...but maybe it ain't so wrong after all..since you mentioned it, just what is the cgc grading system good for?I have only discovered this in comic book reviews on the internet a while ago...previously to that I have never come accross this...this is just an official grading of the quality of your comic's shape, isn't it?...for instance you buy a superman #1 from 1938 on the flea market and want to freezeframe this baby for all eternity you go to the cgc people and they decide what condition your book is and depending from that judgement you can go and see for yourself how much it is worth in money....
so if this is correct, why do you do that here if you're planning on hanging them on your wall?.....now, remember, I don't want to critize here or judge I just wish to learn from you....;) greetings marcel p.s.:they look furocious!!!!!;) |

1. Physical Preservation of the book 2. Signature Authentication 3. So the condition of the can't be disputed 4. It increases the value of the book 5. It looks cool 6. It helps determine the value of the book for insurance purposes Here are some CGC books: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../CGC%20Comics/ |
