LOS ANGELES- Thanks to the shortening of the title for Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles film, which has yet to begin shooting, has announced its first cast member of the film. Because of the lack of "Teenage" in the film, fans will presume that the new movie takes place 20 years after the first one, meaning that the turtles are now all in their thirties, meaning that Ms. Hoag is once again a suitable pick to play famed reporter April O'Neil.
Ms. Hoag, which has only been seen in a few guest roles on shows such as Castle, was delighted to get the call and feels glad to be part of the Turtles' family once again. She said, "With all of this newfound popularity, I'm sure this new adventure will be a delight with fans and the Turtles will be bigger than ever".
The new Ninja Turtles, which has spawned controversy among fans and even former cast alumni of the original films due to its alien plots, will only get more attention as the Christmas 2013 release approaches, thanks to lots of attention formed from a new cartoon series for Nickelodeon and a new Playmates Toyline. This will be the first movie since 2007 and the first live action since 1993.

The fact that this was only posted in the General Forums gave this away right off the bat.

This might have worked if it wasn't the wrong section.

But, in my defense, I actually read the post on March 31 in my part of the world. So, I guess I shouldn't feel too bad about it.

Good joke, but I saw it coming since it wasn't in the TMNT movie section. But still, nice one!:tgrin:

Yea, this would of been easier to fall for if it was in the right section. But it did kind of get me...:ohwell:

Jester 04-01-2012 04:50 PM

Yeah...I don't always read sections when I do the "New Post" search...

BubblyShell22 04-01-2012 05:04 PM

Nice joke, Pan. That was classic, even though I saw it coming from a mile away.

zkarlette 04-03-2012 12:29 AM

I almost tripped for this one.. Actually It would be kind of cool to see cameos of the original actors in the new movie
