the nominations are going on for the 2012 Technodrome Awards!! This year we have special Turtle themed awards for members with certian characteristics....and we have an award for best new member!

Come nominate our best new member and someone who reminds you of a turtle!!!

you don't have to have a nominee for each category.....just give some member props in the best category for him or her.

Um, shouldn't this be in the Everything Else section or something? It has nothing to do with TMNT itself, just the forum.

She's seeding all the TMNT forums with them to get the word out is all.

Who in the blue hell cares about these awards? An ego-boost and a faggy signiture. That's it.

Would've been much simpler to just ask Krang to post an announcement about it instead of flooding the board.

I understand about wanting to get the word out, but I think putting it in the announcements section would be better.

Shredder has also seeded each section with a catch-all thread link. Yes, they're unnecessary, but there's little need to jump on Katie. She's just trying to get the word out.

Also, SOOOO glad you're back Zarius. The conversation was sorely lacking your brand of wit.

He's just pissy cause he knows he won't be nominated or win an award :lol:

I wasn't jumping on Katie at all. I just wasn't sure if she had permission to post this elsewhere. But if she did, that's cool.

This is why I posted actual threads. That announcement has been up for days and people just don't look at it. We just wanted to make sure everyone had the opportunity to participate if they wanted to and there are a lot of active members who never go into the General Discussion Sections.

If you don't want to participate, that's fine. No need to bash the process. Sorry if I offended while trying to build some community participation.
