Ninja Turtle attributes
1-4...
4=BEST Just because someone has '1' dosnt mean they stink at that attribute...keep that in mind. This is my opinion as long as nobody shares the same attribute level... this is about WHO is better at WHAT. LEONARDO SKILL- 4 INTELLEGENCE- 3 STRENGTH- 2 SPEED- 1 DONATELLO SKILL- 3 INTELLEGENCE- 4 STRENGTH- 1 SPEED- 2 RAPHAEL SKILL- 1 INTELLEGENCE- 2 STRENGTH- 4 SPEED- 3 MICHELANGELO SKILL- 2 INTELLEGENCE- 1 STRENGTH- 3 SPEED- 4 Well? I think Raph and Mike's SPEED and STRENGTH used to be switched around for the old cartoon. |
I don't know, they all are skilled, and better than other in some situations. I couödn't put a number on how skilled or intelligent they are..
|
I think thats correct. As long as you can't have two people having the same speed etc.
|
I think your atrributes are far too broad to accurately put a number on them...
|
You are right actually, acording to offical stats...except...I dunno about where the skill level would be for the other 3 besides Leo...and intelligence depends on which kind you mean...in all around intelligence Leo would actualy rank highest, but in bookish knowledge, Don rules.
|
I'd say you got most of them right, and some wrong.
I would put Mikes skill at 1, and Raphs at 2, because Mike tends to screw around when he should be training (going off the cartoon universe here, comics are pry diffrent.) |
Dunno where he's getting those from, but I don't think it's the Pallidium RPG book. Mirage did have a hand in those profiles.
They have it listed as this (I left out the skills, cause that's harder to rank) Raph: IQ (12), P.S. (20), Speed (15) Leo: IQ (16), P.S. (15), Speed (11) Don: IQ (19), P.S. (13), Speed (10) Mike: IQ (11), P.S. (16), Speed (14) So Raph is strongest of the four, but his IQ and speed is only one higher than Mike's. It was stated, however, that "[Michaelangelo] doesn't work as hard at the art of ninjitsu as any of the others (except perhaps Donatello), but his naturally high physical prowess more than makes up for his lack of discipline." Here's a typed up description from the books, someone put on her site. Doesn't have the numerical stats, but it's still interesting: http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Coffee.../profiles.html |
I don't think Leo deserves a 1 for "Speed". He is fast and moving and everything else and most of them are pretty quick since they have to "keep to the darkness". Even if you were only allowed to assign one turtle a 3 or a 4 I think Leo is higher. But overall not bad!

zane is right
i like raph the best and his skill is phenomenal but he is not in comparison to the other 3. that is probably why he is so angry. zane said "Just because someone has '1' dosnt mean they stink at that attribute...keep that in mind. " all tmnt rule at all 4!!! |
?!?!?!? :o
Raph is the best fighter of the four! Why is his skill level set at 1? Even if you factor in his arrogance and hotheadedness, he's still around Leo's level. (remember he beat Leo in Return to NY?). True, he had his weakness revealed in the River, but still he's the best fighter, and I think he should rank overall right below Leo... Mike's intelligence at 1 as well? Oy!! Mike is the writer and poet!!! |
hmm... I thought I was pretty accurete..
BTW... Raph's skill is not higher than Leo's geesh.. where'd that come from? |
#19 :) raph whooped Leo in hand to hand combat. But later in #21 it showed that Leo was better because of his level-headedness. In any case, Raph is the best combat fighter in terms of technical skill.
Remember I did say "around Leo's level" not "higher than". |
Yes raph does deserve higher than a 1 on skill! I agree with impetus.

hmmmm
Here's my take..... and, when I say 'my take', I really mean the Palladium/Mirage RPG take:
LEONARDO SKILL- 3 INTELLEGENCE- 3 STRENGTH- 2 SPEED- 2 DONATELLO SKILL- 1 INTELLEGENCE- 4 STRENGTH- 1 SPEED- 1 RAPHAEL SKILL- 2 INTELLEGENCE- 2 STRENGTH- 4 SPEED- 4 MICHELANGELO SKILL- 4 INTELLEGENCE- 1 STRENGTH- 3 SPEED- 3 Some side notes..... I assume by 'Skill' you are referring to UNARMED natural combat abilities (ie. Taijutsu) as combat prowess may or may not change depending on the weapon(s) they may be using. By 'Intelligence' I am assuming you are referring to conventional intelligence (as measured in IQ tests) and not things like 'street smarts' or 'intuitive/emotional intelligence'. By 'Strength' I am assuming you are referring to how much muscle they have and how much they can lift/carry.... and not the degree of power they have in their movements. By 'Speed' I am assuming you are referring to how fast they can run/sprint, and not how quick their responses are in combat. Again, this is based on the Mirage TMNT. I can't speak for the other versions. |
My responses....

Oh, and in case any of you are questioning the authenticity of Palladium's stats, I actually emailed Dan Berger and asked him if the Palladium ones were 'official' and he replied: "They're as official as its going to get." Quote:

I think you can't really give a number on the skills of the TMNT. It all depends on the situation. Raph can beat less skilled foot soldiers easily, but got his ass whooped by Shredder elite. Leo is skilled in combat, but also in battle tactics. Michelangelo is skilled but not a tactician, at time Don seems almost like a pacifist who doesn't enjoy combat. Ultimately wich is most skilled in what comes from the writers hand when he writes the events, but thats how the characters usually work.

Strategy is useful, but has its limitations. Particularly if you get 'stuck' on it. Quote:
