Didn't particularly like either of these episodes...but Chinatown Ghost Story wins it for me. I can't stand Timothy in any form.

Eh, I didn't like either, and they were more or less, the same damn plot line involving Donnie and April again. I don't mind hints and tidbits, but I am tired of all of these entire episodes actually revolving the love triangle. Those have to stop.

Both eps have their moments, but Chinatown Ghost Story was funnier, so it gets my vote.

OrangeNinja1987 10-27-2014 06:49 PM

I definitely liked Mutagen Man Unleashed better, at least 10 times as much. It was better in nearly every way, compared to Chinatown Ghost Story, as far as I can remember.

Shiro Kame 10-27-2014 06:50 PM

I preferred Mutagen Man Unleashed. Ho Chan was way too quirky in my opinion, and there didn't seem a lot to the story compared to MMU.

Agreed 100%. From what I hear, the kids (especially girls) love that stuff. So unfortunately, I'm not sure if they'll be easing up on it or not in Season 3. We can only hope.

Maybe if you were the actual target audience, this would hold more weight...

Both of these were ok, not my favorite, not my least. But

MMU just because April was still mad at the turtles, plus Casey introduction

Which is why I said they're not going to ease up on something that the target audience enjoys.

Mutagen man unleashed.

Warhorse 10-27-2014 07:10 PM

I picked the Mutagen Man one. At least I can tolerate that one, and the other brothers were coherent and not being mind controlled. The China one, I'd just like to pretend it's in line with the 2014 movie, as it never existed in my mind.

How are you deciding which episodes are pitted against which episodes?

The seedings were based off this thread.

I still don't have a clue what's going on. Why not just pit first episode against last episode, then 2nd episode against the second to last episode and so on? Why make it so complicated?

Because having 24 episodes doesn't make it even to work in a single elimination tournament without altering it.

There would need to be 16 or 32 episodes for that to work properly, because 24 is right in the middle, I can split the top 8 episodes apart from the rest to make a proper tournament format with 24. If you did best vs. worst from the start, you would end with 3 episodes. Finding a way to reduce it from 24 to 16 can get a final with 2. While I still want every episode a part of the tournament.

Does that make sense because that's about as well as I can explain it.

BabyTurtles 10-27-2014 07:52 PM

.....eh..Mutagen Man Unleashed...at least it introduced Casey.

The love triangle is annoying, but at least Casey and Donnie didn't meet yet in MMU so no annoying squabbling.

No. Why not just stick a poll up with all of the episodes on it, then it's all done in one go?

Because people prefer it like this and actually enjoy it.

Plus I noticed you've commented on every topic I put up so far with no issue about any of this, and this one you suddenly make a big stink about.

Hmm, I can't imagine why?

Would you like to tell me something that you think I don't already know?

I'm just curious, and anyway, I did ask you on your private board, to keep this sh!t off the public boards, so who is having the issue now? Perhaps you should have just kept it PM like I started it? It was an honest question at how you were deciding to pit the episodes togethr.
