Last time, it was a dark day for the season premiere, as Mutation Situation got the smackdown from the legend that was Kuro Kabuto.

I really loved Target: April O'Neil. Easily better than that stupid Pizzaface episode.

Even as a Mikey fan I'm too fond of Pizzaface.
I don't hate it with a passion like many others do but the whole thing just felt off. I can only hope it really was a dream. Based on that it's actually quite enjoyable but I can't help and feel it was real.

But Target: April O'Neil wasn't that much better to be honest... Overall it felt like a 'meh' episode. First, Donnie ditching his brothers in the middle of a mission, then Leo seemingly forgetting what he learned about Karai not long ago and in the beginning the turtles minus Donnie talked pretty casually about April being gone for good... As if they didn't really care.

So all in all, both are somewhat average episodes in my eyes, but I'll give my vote to Target: April O'Neil. It had some decent fighting scenes (especially Donnie owning Karai) and Casey for once had a really touching moment with April when he told her what happened between him and his friend.

Target: April O'Neil most likely has this won.

I used to hate Pizza Face...I mean, come on, even the title sounds lame. But a while back I stumbled across an interesting interpretation of that episode, which declares it to be just a hallucinogenic dream.

I know it's slightly off topic, but this is why I think Pizzaface was all a dream, the first being that it was supposed to have been originally aired after The Wrath of Tigerclaw.

The pizza Mikey made was gross. I couldn't see him making such a pizza with those inedible toppings, especially the rat, unless it was for ICK. lol

Donnie. He mentioned that he'd been trying to contact April for a long time, who was obviously supposed to have met up with him and the others, but she wasn't answering her T-Phone. Tigerclaw was still around as well as the Kraang. She is still a target after all.

If he'd been trying to contact her for hours and didn't get an answer that entire time seems it would've alarmed him and the others. He said this openly with Leo and Raph in earshot range. Nothing.

Later on, after they order the pizza, he's sparring with Leo and Raph like it was nothing, so yeah, I found that really unusual as it's out of the ordinary for her not to answer, which was pointed out by Kirby himself in Wrath of Tigerclaw.

The mutant pizzas. First time Mikey fought the pizza, slices and pieces of it going everywhere and he only had that one slice, trying to get the others to believe him.

Later, though the pizza is whole again, even though it shouldn't have been.

I thought it was just a mistake, but it happened again later when the other three and Splinter ate all of the pizza. The pizzas were whole again, which shouldn't have been the case because they'd already eaten them.

Mikey unable to take a proper photo with his T-Phone. When they introduced it back in season 1, Mikey figured out how to play games on it with no trouble at all. How could he not figure out the camera?

When interrogating that one pizza, he pulled off a pepperoni and ate it. He didn't become possessed or anything, but maybe it was because he didn't eat the cheese....

Nah, because later he did. He was trapped on the wall and ate his way through and then ate Pizzaface. All of the mutant pizzas were made from him and everyone who ate it or was attacked by it became pizza zombies. Why not Mikey?

Leo and Raph were hit really hard. They should've been bruised in some way.

At the end, the Pizzaface slice talks...after Mikey goes back to sleep.

So yeah, this is why I interpreted the whole ep as a dream, especially after finding out it was aired out of order. I felt this way before I knew, especially because of Donnie not worrying over April.

Doesn't matter if it was a dream or not, the Pizza Face is one of the most stupidest things I have ever seen on TV.

Target O Neil, by a long shot. I also loved it because it showcases that Leonardo isn't the only one who can kick Karai's ass, Donnie can too, when provoked in the right way, like, trying to kill his April!

Oh, I agree. I voted Target: April O'Neil. I'm just saying it's a cool way of looking at it.

Reunited with April

Great fights for the turtles

Shows karai losing it and getting desperate

First time we really see April fight and her ability was handled perfectly

Also saw Casey fight and got a real first look at him

I must be a minority here. I love crazy episodes like Pizzaface! Target: April O'Neil moved the plot forward but there's not much humor in it (the Kraang sweet 16 birthday party is a nice touch though )

Mikey's pizza song is my favourite! I can play it over and over again

This is so funny, what a plot twist!



Also don't forget exorcist Ice Cream Kitty!

In that case the only funny bit in Target: April O'Neil that's memorable to me is Mikey's mad puppetry skills!

Eh, I don't watch the show for the humor much, but I thought Raph's "Did he just, ditch us?" was pretty funny. But I like Target April O Neil because of Donnie being all badass and telling Karai she was not going to touch April. I like this Donnie!

It was so silly and fun. It's one of the few episodes where I actually laughed out loud a few times. I don't mind the goofy filler in this series.
