Guys... it's been said, just don't shop for LEGOs at Toys R Us or their website unless you have a coupon/promo for a substantial discount. if you wait a bit you can get them for cheaper at walmart and other stores. Or just get them on amazon or shop.lego.com which has them *now* for retail price!

Those don't count as they are not available to the public! Besides, while they are nice for hardcore collectors they are just recolors and not particularly interesting for most. Definitely not worth the $120 or whatever some people are paying for each figure. While the black Leo may never be re-released I think the Human-suited Kraang probably will at some point (probably with slightly different paint apps)

I also like how he put all 3 raphaels on there even though 2 are identical :p

What do you mean "they don't count" because they are not available to the public? I am part of the public and I got them. Just because they are less accessible does not mean they don't count. What you may mean is that some people will not feel that they need them for their collection to feel complete because they are not collecting exclusives, which is fine. If you are trying to collect every tmnt mini-figure produced, then yeah, they count.

Well... if you buy a lot of LEGO you'll notice many sets come with posters or fold-outs with graphical lists of the minifigures very similar to the one shown. They never show the "convention exclusive" figures because, what's the point? you can't get them anywhere except maybe ebay where you pay an arm and a leg! so no, they don't count. if I had attented a convention and were lucky enough to get them I would treasure them, for sure. But I think anyone who buys them is out of their minds.

Yeah, that makes sense.

I got the Shredder bike at TRU last week for retail. I just pulled up the Lego Shop on my phone and they price matched it. Gonna do the same tomorrow to get either the Shellraiser or the Lair Attack.

Haven't found them in WalMart yet. I was able to get a star wars republic frigate (1015 pieces) today for only 24.50 though....really nice deal.

I picked up one of each set from Lego.com today. Prices were reasonable enough for me, and even with TRU coupons still a better deal. Items shipped same day, which was nice.

I would love that! It's very possible. LEGO games tend to be from their licensed properties these days... star wars, pirates of the caribbean, batman, harry potter, lord of the rings... granted these are mostly based on films, but batman was based on the comic (it uses music from the burton films, but the games are otherwise unrelated). Would they do a game based on a tv show? They should give it a try.

I own all the sets minus the Kraang lab and love them! The figures are so detailed and awesome. And that Dark Ninja figure is basically Chris Bradford without hair. The face looks just like him. The Shredder figure and Splinter figures both are really well done.

I think in early promo stuff for the set it was stated that the Dark Ninja was Chris Bradford from the get-go. They probably changed it so as to avoid spoilers with Dogpound...though it's a bit late to worry about that really now.

I got the kraang lab escape. I kinda hate how they made mikeys nunchucks. They were better with the starwars sabers and chains like ninjago ones.

LEGO is really stingy on making new parts, they try to reuse the same parts for everything. The lightsaber hilt is one of the most notorious pieces and It bothers me, too. On one end, yes, LEGO is about the beauty of being able to make endless things with the pieces available, but when it comes to small, handheld items, I think the lightsaber hilt makes a bad one-piece-fits-all solution because of its shape. It looks NOTHING like a nunchaku and I have no idea why they put it on Donatello's Bo... they really should have developed a new piece to fit this void.

It's not a dealbreaker for me though. It just kinda ticks me off how expensive LEGO sets are and yet they are really bad at producing new parts to solve problems like this.
