Yeah you and me both. It's always been difficult to decide whether or not i'd want said mutant as a protagonist or antagonist. Skunks are scavengers by nature, so it might make an interesting villain. On the other hand, I could see the skunk as a pal too. I'd be fine with it either way.

I dunno. Turtles are supposed to have a really good sense of smell (some species can smell water for a mile or more) so I'm not sure they'd want to hang around with a skunk- they would probably gag from the smell, LOL! (Skunks always have a bit of the smell clinging to them, thanks to the long fur of their tails being so close to the glands and getting hit when they spray.)
I'd love to see a DECENT spider-mutant (a la the Man-Spider from the Spider-Man TAS cartoon) for a change, or perhaps a falcon or a horse.

What about a scorpion and a spider?
Spiders and their webs and scorpions with their poisoning tails. Spider bytez was a disappointment. |

Hasn't there already been a coyote mutant in Archie? I'd like a mutant ferret or an opossum. Hmm, maybe a dolphin would be cool? Or a piranha? We've already had a shark and a manta, and the "mer-dude".

An axolotl - he'd have a super regenerative ability, too.

In IDW they can combine DNA of different species, and mutate it (after all this is how Bebop & Rocksteady was born, combining humans with rhino/warthog), so how about making a manticore or a gryph for a change?
No joke, a mutated manticore would be pretty cool actually: Spoiler:

First time that i see this thread but i had an idea the other day.
A serial killer Deer, a humanoid body, a dear head with a giant antlers and a treachcoat. (Scary image, ha?) Other possibilties involve a hiena and a vulture. SHUT UP, i am not wierd!. Last edited by electric_sheep; 05-12-2014 at 01:07 AM. |

I like a sloth with drunken fist kung fu.
How about animals in need of other martial arts besides just ninjutsu... - Monkey - Monkey Kung Fu - Jaguar - Muay Thai - Mantis - Mantis Kung Fu (Northern & Southern) - Komodo - Dragon & Shaolin Kung Fu - Wolf - Jeet Kune Doo |

I know we've had frogs before (Genghis, Napoleon, etc), but I'd like to see a Red-Eyed Tree Frog anthropomorphized. I see him as a short, skinny/lanky little fella with maybe a bo-staff. He would be swift and could do amazing acrobatics.
Sort of like this little guy, but minus the tech gear. Instead I'd see him wearing some kind of native garb: |
