There's this villain next to Baxter Stockman in the opening that I couldn't make out. Is that Squirrelanoid?

I don't believe there was a villain next to Baxter, I believe what it was was Baxter's pincer hand. I'll have to double check that though.

I REALLY enjoyed this episode and thought it was maybe the most atmospheric episode of the series. I DO wish it could have aired a little closer to Halloween but I'm not sure what the scheduling looks like and it seems like they usually take a break around holidays. There were SO many "nods" to the past going on in this episode that it would be hard to even list them all. I LOVED the fact that April fell down while running from Creep. That's one of the best classic horror cliches. I honestly think this episode might have been genuinely frightening to younger viewers. I hope we see more upstate episodes. Also I would like to have a Creep figure. When he had that sack on his head he sorta reminded me of Leatherface and those chainsaw guys from Resident Evil 4. He is one of the better designed new mutants in my opinion.

That fasanation of seeing Raph without a mask is a little creepy.
Loved The Walking Dead style farmhouse setup. But really enjoyed the Friday The 13th part 2 nod. How the mutagen medicine bottle was on the shrine like in F13 2. Since like Mrs Voorhees it is the Creeps mama. Sack head Creep loved it.

Like I said before, the Raph thing is confusing. Don't try to make sense of it.

did they even bother to change his water?? XD (he has to still go to the bathroom right?)

.....and did they seriously leave him in a bathtub for 3 months??

maybe if this was a week it'd make more sense.....how was Leo even eating?

Well turtles do go into hibernation over the winter so I guess Leo was in some sort of coma/hibernation like state.

well...okay then.

it'd be nice if we heard stuff like that instead of it being glossed over

in 3 months...the kraang could have taken over most of New York by now...I'd hate to be in the city at that point.

unless EPF has been working their magic (which I would totally be okay with )

I've wondered about that too and apparently the turtles are going to be at the farm for 13 episodes so that's going to be at least a few more months.

I'm wondering the Kraang's invasion of New York has slowed down because they are at feud with Shredder and his army over the control of New York as there alliance is now over as they defeated the turtles. Also expect other mutants joining in the fight too. So New York is probably in chaos.

Well I gotta give Raph fans credit, if nothing else they're a passionate bunch and fast to pull for their fave. Other than that... I ain't touching that argument with a 6' katana... lol

I will just say that I'm am sure that fans of each Turtle could probably note faults with what's been done 'wrong' or neglected for their fave at times over 30 years of the franchise. No one has been the favored golden child with the spotlight and perfect writing through every moment of three decades.

I'm sure it's just me finding coincidences, because just realized that...
Spoiler:
Movie: Eric Sacks drains Turtles of mutagen.
This episode: Raph's mutagen is drained from him by a bad guy with a sack on his head.

And repeating myself, but:
Movie: Deviation from the norm (I think?) in that the mutagen now exists in their blood.
Episode: Now suggests same thing by needing to put it back into Raph.
Movie: Splinter given mutagen (I assume ingested?) to save/heal him.
Episode: Leo given mutagen meds to heal him.

I kinda figured it was something like that....but IDK...being told or showed really helps me feel like the writers care a little more.

(does Donnie even have a feeding tube?)

Is it just me or do to many people feel like a half hour fictional animated entertainment program must be scientifically and politically correct. Its 22 minutes of fun and laughs to me.

Finally able to watch it (curse you cable provider for suddenly dropping Nick).

The Raph turned plant dog then flower then completely fine was weird. I guess they were trying to show how unsettling the Creep was by what it did to him, but it came off completely confusing. I'll just block it from memory.

Didn't like how Donnie objected to April and Casey going alone. Donnie, your bro is missing. Fix your priorities. I'm okay with the Apritello/Capril conflict until moments like this.

Everything else was great. Still adjusting to Green, but I like it. The Creep was a cool horror mutant, and the atmosphere was chilling.
