It was Theon I was thinking about specifically when I posted, though they haven't gone too far with exactly what Grey Worm does with girls (I haven't read the books so I don't know more than the show). I suppose Theon is worse off than Grey Worm and Fugitoid, still having the twins without the "pork sausage".

Grey Worm and Missandei aren't a thing in the books, so I was thinking about show GW specifically. Theon didn't even come to my mind until I read your post. Still, I believe it's possible for a robot to enjoy the company and affections of females (or males, whatever the case). If anything, I believe the biggest hurdle for Honeycutt to overcome in such a context would be the memory of his late wife.

Why do people keep jumping to the idea that Donatello's gonna become a robot? For one thing, that's been done before and secondly, it's so cliche. Besides, keep in mind that in this canon Splinter and the TMNT are all reincarnations of a human family who lived hundreds of years ago in ancient Japan, so who's to say Don doesn't just get reincarnated twice?

A lot of the IDW series is adaptions and new takes on old material. The series has already adapted Mirage, original cartoon, 4kids, Nick, and Archie material.

Whose to say some Image elements won't wind up in the book? I don't think they're going the cyborg Donnie route from Image but who knows.

Does anyone have an extra copy I could buy off them. I have been to multiple local comic shops in Portland, OR and all have sold out... Just because Donnie DIES!!!! Looking for the Eastman cover (B). Cant wait to read this even though we all know what happens. I just don't see this being the end of Donnie though. I bet he comes back in some kind of form before the end of the 50th but who knows.

Haha, I'm honestly surprised that non of the 1st run variant covers featured a Donatello themed image. I can't imagine what that would be going for on the secondary market.

Prices are way too high on EBAY. I'm not getting suckered in this time. I might have to wait at least 6 months for the prices to come way down.

Only after everyone learns that Donatello will be alive and well after Mikey accidentally injects Donatello's bloodless body with adrenaline. He'll jump up right out of his hospital bed, get electicuted from a wifi connection at Starbucks, hack into the Sewer Cloud Server and download a reboot sequence of his hard drive backed up mind and save Raph from near death. (with explosions and shakey camera shots Michael Bay approves).

I didn't think that Donatello, (my other favorite turtle after Raphael), would suffer such a brutal wound by that Sledgehammer attack by Rocksteady. Yeesh. This really made an impact; an impact that rivals Batman: Knightfall. Bebob & Rocksteady in this IDW incarnation are really proving to be the TMNT's most dangerous foes. Guess well see what happens next when TMNT (IDW) #45 comes. Poor Donnie. I still need to catch up on reading the TMNT IDW comics.
