Just assume the Image Raph was pulled from the timeline at that portion and the Mirage Raph from either Vol. 1 or Vol. 4 era, but they're still the same Raph.

2012’s statements about Dimension X.
However, Saturday Morning Adventures also considers Turtles Forever canon, and the 2012 series completely ignored that.
Personally, I just take in in stride, the show itself had so many continuity hiccups that I think it’s easier just to go with the flow on this one. Who knows? Burnham may even have plans to clean up that mess one day.

Maybe Trans Dimensional Turtles takes place before Turtles Forever and that is why 1987 Donatello is not familiar with Mirage universe when he went there with 2012 Donatello

Ok I see things better, so it really is Traximus and his trophy. I wonder what happened to IDW Zog and Slash (did IDW Slash always had this yellow eye thing ?)

IDW Zog was last seen in the 2014 Annual, assuming this takes place in a different location we probably won't see him.
Slash's left eye being yellow like that is new.

Alright, I'll cave. It's only been 10 years or so. I don't think anyone's using this one, so it's mine now.

And that walls between battles are like walls in 2003 cartoon although this might be Battle Nexus shown in 2014 annual and Traximus might be same version from 2003 cartoon and Lord Simolteneous is same version from Mirage and IDW comics maybe

All good points.

Has there been any other Turtles Forever references outside of Shredder summoning that Technodrome? Didn’t he say it was from another dimension? Or did he say “the future”?

Thank you for supporting this avatar and I think Shredder said upgraded Technodrome is from future in TMNT Saturday Morning Adventures issue 11

He specifically said it was from the future.

Yeah, that definitely means Turtles Forever and TMNT 2012 crossover episodes are canon to TMNT 1987 universe

And they paid to declare it, which is why they’re the arbiters of what shows up. Ignore what you like, but you’ll still wind up frustrated when it comes down to your call vs. Nickelodeon’s as to what’s in the released product from 2010 on.

To answer another point, quilted multiversal theory throws out that a dimension exists for every decision. This masked Raph isn’t the same guy. He’s just visually similar. Enjoy.

The legal wrangling for this image took months.

I know that I was most surprised to see Next Mutation Raph. Did that involve knocking on Hasbro's door, or does someone else own that show currently? Or are the comic rights a completely different beast for NM, like the toy rights?

Also, am I correct to assume that there's a legal reason that anime Super Mutant Raph is the only one that's shrouded in shadow? Or was that just a stylistic choice on Sarah's part?

Love SMA, BTW!

For what it’s worth, I truly do appreciate all of the hard work and dedication everyone involved in Saturday Morning Adventures puts into each issue. The book has consistently been a treat to read since its release, and is the comic I look forward to reading most each month.
