As seen in some Episodes Michelangelo can transform his Nunchukus into Kusarigama and Donatello can make his Bo into a Naginata.

What do you guys think of this new Weapons? Do you think it is stupid to break with the old traditions of the weapons they have always been in use?

For my part i really like the change. Kusarigama and Naginata are one of my favorite Weapons of japanese history and i really love that the two Turtles who had only "hit" weapons can use blade-weapons now.

It is also a good thing, that they made the weapons like modifications, and not drop theyr old weapons instead.

Negative: Michelangelo seems not skilled enough for a kusarigama. It went always wrong as he used this weapon in the show. I think they should add more seriously or talent into michelangelos character in this show.. At the time now, i think Michelangelo is a total goof and much weaker than his brothers.


Donatellos Naginata had only one appereance so far, if i can remember... it wasn't shown much fighting with it...i hope there will come more scenes.

These Weapons also come with the Nick. Action Figures, do you think Leo and Raphs weapon will be modificated too in future episodes? Because Leo and Raph Figures also comes with alternative weapons...
