If it's only nominated for its animation quality, then why did they nominate South Park? It's interesting animation but not even close to good by any means.

NOTHING was nominated for a Daytime Emmy this year in animation. It was all Drama shows and crap like that. I guarantee you TMNT would've been nominated for one this year if they had bothered with animation. Also, season 2 hasn't been taking the best direction? Uh, Target: April O'Neil, Slash and Destroy, Good, Bad, Casey Jones, Of Rats and Men, Wormquake, Lonely Mutation, Wrath of Tiger Claw, Legend of Kuro Kabuto, and Vengeance is Mine would like to have a word with you. (Many of those were some of the best episodes of the SERIES)
