Well in all fairness, Cubed was right about that.

4Kids found a way to turn a minor character like Stockman into a major villain in quite a brilliant way, have him be an arrogant prideful backstabber, with a gimmick about him always upgrading his cybernetics so that his appearence keeps changing. That version of Baxter was so awesome IDW more or less went with that characterisation.

This Baxter on the other hand... More or less went back to the coward who turned into fly for no reason. His punishment doesn't even make sense this time around, 4Kids Baxter got his limbs chopped off for failures and treason, this Baxter got turned into a fly because... Shredder didn't like ducks and pigs? It's so stupid, it was utterly pointless.
