Why did Krang's body have a human skin tone?
Maybe it's a silly question but it has bugged me since I started to think about it. Why did Krang give his robotic body a human skin tone? In fact the human/inhuman elements seems to be off balance in general.
With the Utroms they ran around in metal skeletons that could have a fake human skin put on, sor of like the terminator. So they could either look just like humans or simply just robots. Krang's body on the other hand has a human skin tone, a mouth, a nose, cheek bones and a chin, but it looks way too bizarre to pass for human. The arms are too short, the head has a weird pointy look with an antenna, lines across the joints and sides of the limbs, some strange three-sectioned chest, no defined neck and of course the gaping cockpit. One wonders why he didn't just ignore the pointless humanoid details. |
