I take it neither of you guys have read many of the novels? Leia was a princess because her adoptive family on Alderaan were the royalty of that planet. But since Alderaan is no more.... *shrugs* So, no, Leia is no longer a princess, and certainly not a "queen" of ANY planet, because it no longer exists. She IS, however, still a ranking General of the Resistance/Rebellion/Republic. And for the record, Leia DID begin her Jedi training under Luke, but eventually chose not to continue, opting to run the Republic and raise her family instead. She got as far as building her own light-saber (which is actually a Padawan test) but that was it.

Amidala was an ELECTED Queen of Naboo, but relinquished that title after a new queen was elected and she became a Senator instead. So she wasn't a queen anymore, either. Naboo's royalty isn't blood-based, but electoral, so it passes from one title-holder to the next. This has all been explained in the movies, books, and even in the comics.
