the early issues of Vol. 1 Color Classics was the only one they put any quality effort into.

as Vol. 1 went along they started to get lazy and carless.

in Leonardo's Micro series when one of his elbow pads gets cut off there's a panel where his naked elbow got painted brown!

the laziness got worse with Return to NY with the Shredder Clones painted Solid Red, Blue and Purple.

and City of War the Turtles sometimes have white bottom lips.
