What should the Kur-li maneuver have really been?

For those who remember Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blast From The Past (episode 47), the Leader of the Foot clan was the only one whu knew the Kur-li maneuver, and so Splinter knew it, but it turned out to be a couple of funny arm waves a knock on the forehead and a few slaps and then a gentle wave in front of the face with a feather fan - yeah it paralized Shredder all the while, who Splinter was performing it on, but I expected it to be some real fast, impressive arm movements or backflips or something. Those who have seen that episode, what were you expecting when the great Kur-Li maneuver was mentioned - since it's so secret an all. Those who haven't seen the episode, what would you have expected too?

btw, the way Splinter did the Kur-li was pretty funny tho, I think I was still staring with my eyebrows raised when the cartoon had finished, like 'wtf??!'
