Does anyone know what this is?

I found this TMNT figure on an eBay auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT I have never seen a figure like this before, it seems almost metallic, and the packaging is quite different as well. I was intrigued enough to buy it to study it from a closer perspective.

Not only did the seller have Leo in this unusual figure, but they also had Raph, Don, and Mikey, even Splinter and Shredder. The figure is pretty cool, but it puzzles me as to what they actually are, and why there isn't anything about them. Unless it's a prototype, or a bootleg...
