Neca TMNT Figures Now W/ Foot Soldier Prototype & Mouser Information

The schedule, though, is pretty modest at the moment. Next up are
those black and white variants, then a Foot Soldier. Beyond that, we
haven't seen a thing nor heard a peep.
The contract goes for 3 years I think, pretty standard.
The interesting thing in that we've just granted them an expansion of
the contract so that it includes lots of weird little items,
everything from stickers to posters to lamps. However, they have yet
to submit designs for any of 'em.

Alll characters from all universes, huh? Wow! The movie included, as it would also have to be okayed by Warners? I'm sure that if that comes up, they'd be able to negotiate with them. I'd just like to know if a movie line could be done, and if the co-operation of Warners (as they own New Line) and the Henson company (as the designers of the suits, would they be entitled to some sort of royalty?) would be needed?

I mean, when the Muppet line came out, Henson worked closely with the toy company. I'm sure they'd be glad to donate old sketches and any available media. If there's one thing Neca does great, it's their movie toy lines. I'd LOVE to see their take on the Turtles and especially the first movie version of Splinter (the third movie one wasn't so good).

Too bad it's taking a while, but I'm sure that's just a tactical thing. If they brought out everything at once, they would no doubt wind up delaying something anyway. But maybe taking their time isn't such a bad thing. Shows they plan to put a LOT of quality into their figures.

Personally, what I'd like to see is if they can make a deal with Saki, like Playmates did, and make a Usagi figure either as part of the TMNT line, or a small run Usagi line that runs allong side the TMNT line.

Lemme just say, if a Hildaguard Rail figure was made, I'd be extatic.
