A thing about turtles

As much as we love TMNT and admire those mutant turtles kick some bad guys booty and being able to take care of themselves, it is sadly not the case with captive (or pet if you prefer) turtles and tortoises!

The captive breed mostly rely on their owners to care for them, provide good food and environment so they can grow and prosper.

Of course, without the proper care, it can lead to such disastrous result.

Spoiler:

For those who wishes to get a pet turtle or tortoise in the near future, please, I am BEGGING you to do some internet research on basic care, depending on the specie of turtle you desire to adopt or purchase.

That picture really made me cry... literally.
