I liked the film as well, but seeing as to how I forgot the movie storyline and a lot of the details of the movie, must not have had enough interest in the storyline, but I did love the animation and the voices in the movie.

I caught part of it the other night on HBO. I couldn't really get into it. The animation looked great, but yeah that's about it.

Watched it the other day. The animation holds up really well (especially the Leo/Raph fight) but the plot just isn't good enough for a feature film. As others have said, it would have been better as a multi-part 2K3 episode. I appreciate they didn't want to re-tread old ground and use Shredder again, and I loved the idea that they were a bit older, had drifted from each other a bit and needed to come together again as a team (though they needed way better story balance between the Turtles), but the whole monsters plot just didn't cut it. This could have (should have) been City at War or Triceratons or any one of a dozen comic based story ideas.

Again, not bad, but certainly not as good as it could or should have been. 2K3 was miles better.

It's a fun movie and it looks nice, but definitely no cinematic masterpiece. I definitely don't dislike it, but it's not my favorite. I was surprised by how well it aged. (5 years isn't a long time, but it is when it comes to improvements in CG)

I think i liked the trailer better than the movie. Was really siked about it, think it just disappoined me a little bit. Storyline wasn't that interested to though.

I still feel the same about it. I watched it again a few months ago and I don't think that script is worth a movie. As it's been said before, it felt a lot like just an episode of the 2K3 series.

I really disliked the CG TMNT movie. I'd sooner watch TMNT 3 or the Next Mutation series over it.

it was ok. It was odd that they tied the first 3 movies with this one at the end.
The plot was very weak.

You'd rather watch Next Mutation over it? Wow.

I can understand not being crazy about the movie, but in no way did it ever come across as insultingly awful.

I still love this movie as much as I did the day it came out. Raph vs Leo is still one of the best fights ever put to animation and SO emotionally charged. And now that I've become a Avatar: the Last Airbender fan, my love of Mako's performance of Splinter has only grown to the point I think he's my favorite VA for Splinter period.

This is easily one of my favorite versions of TMNT of all time!

Funny thing - I watched the movie quite recently and thought about it in comparison to how I liked it in 2007.

It's an alright film. To me it's not as good as movie 1 or 2, but it has it's own charm.

The CG was gorgeous, the fight scenes were great - heck to me even the choice of voices for the film was good. But I think the one thing I love about it is the overall emotions used in the film - quite a lot of powerful moments.

However, the one thing that always stuck with me was the plot. I couldn't get over how that plot was so rushed for a movie. The plot it used would have been better if it were used for a mini series.

I think its alright, Like peeps have said here, its not as good as the first 2, but still not a bad film by any means. Its better than 3, without doubt.

i just look at it like i do every other incarnation. its its own thing, with some similarities/overlaps with details from other versions, but ultimately unique. i can understand some points about the shallowness of the plot, but to say it's horrible, or even just bad...that's insane troll logic.

and i know every other reply here invokes the greatness of the first flick and i will too. other than the '90 movie, this is the only film in the four that actually has emotion deeper than "beat the bad guy, cowabunga, dudes!". Yeah, leo and raph's troubles are pretty played out, but if it had to be shown again, this is an example of how to do that...and well!

the animation is great. the designs, i thought, were pretty good for the most part. casey looks very much like he does in 2k3 and i think april is perfectly fine. i mean, other than white girl with red hair, what other defining physical characteristics are there for her? though i did think max winters' legs were distractingly thin, but only the first time i saw it.

i think the plot is good for what they were trying to do with the movie. it was a departure from the norm with an ambitious plot, as others have said, and you gotta give imagi props for trying. if i had seen this flick as a kid, i woulda flipped my lid over how cool it was! as an adult, i can appreciate that they had a line to walk, not just in the tone (kid vs adult), but in execution (die hard vs casual/new fan).

i dunno...i think it was a good addition to the overall franchise.

I only saw it once. I remember being kind of critical of it. I want to see it again, just to see what i'd think of it upon another viewing.

I love this movie, honestly. I think that yes, the monsters plot was rather weak at times, and I wish there was more of Donnie and Mikey in the movie, but I think it delves into the characters. It shows them growing up and how family relationships change over time. I really like the dynamic of Raph and Don not getting along very well in Leo's absence when Don was leader.

I just watched TMNT last night and I got to say I liked it a lot more than the first time I saw it. Perhaps seeing the end of the 4kids show and the starT of the nickelodeon show has opened me up to the odd storyline the film uses but tome TMNT seems like a really good 3 parter of the 4kids show. Not spectacular, but not bad. I definitely enjoyed Turtles Forever more, however I think TMNT holds up as a pretty good entry, especially after the disaster that was the third movie.
